I always feel like people who love handbags, know that the classic styles (neverfull, speedy) are not basic, they're just practical. I have a lot of the bags on this list because they're easy to use, and can be dressed up or down, so I'm getting the value out of my bags.

Yes Sergio, good advice, never feel the need to compare yourself with anyone else or keep up with anyone. I also prefer to be basic with my handbags instead of my wallet or bank account to be basic. I only buy stuff I truly enjoy and love and have the money to buy, never compare myself with others that have more or "better " stuff.

I agree, especially as a working woman, I don't think I'll invest in Chanel or Hermes bag for everyday use. But I do use my chanel classic cardholder as my main wallet, and it sparks so much joy taking it out, and the leather holds up really well despite me abusing it haha
I completely agree with you. As a working women when I do have a day off I'm not going anywhere super fancy or to an event every week so cost per wear will be not worth it to me. I'm good with my 7 bags and tons of slgs. They're all I need and probably all for the cost of Chanel bag and a half.

I have the saint laurent shopper tote and got it for less than $800 last year on sale. I wear it here and there for let's say Dr appts., School functions, shopping, running errands and I really love the way it looks low key. I don't stuff it like I do my LV neverfull mm, or long champ tote. I bought it because I tried to be different but my heart wanted that neverfull since high school. So I ended up getting both. Now I wear my neverfull for longer trips and out and about days when I'm more casual, my saint laurent when I'm a bit more business and Long champ for my work horse. I must say though I do baby my bags but not too much because they have to be functional in order for me to justify the cost. I'm getting the Alma bb in DE next and then I think that's it for my little collection. Well at least for a while. When or do you feel you'll ever have purse peace? Love your videos💙😘

I always say, carry and wear what you like and F everyone else. I LOVE men like you who carry bags that are technically for women. You’re paving the way for others, like me, to do the same. I’ll never carry super feminine bags, but I’ve crossed that line. For me, it’s the price point. With so many beautiful and well made bags in the $200 to $800 price point, I just can’t justify spending thousands on a bag. I also prefer a minimalist look and don’t like large branding. With a lot of these designer bags, I think you’re paying most of the price for the flashy “Doir” across the bag. That bag is of no better quality than a good $400 bag.
I have the YSL camera bag and I do consider it to be basic but I like to use it for everyday stuff like shopping and running errands. I can’t see myself using my Dior or channel to do such activities
Great video! I like luxury stuffs because I basically dont use a lot of bags, I literally only use the same bag for each occassions. That’s why I want my bag to be great quality. And lots of youtubers and influencers (especially when that is their only source of income) are just not relatable. My very humble collection: LV Speedy 25 mono, YSL LouLou small, and just got the preloved Chloe Marcie medium ($650!!) wanting an LV NF, but having a hard time justifying designer price tag for such simple bags!! ..anyone else been eyeing COACH lately? Love the Tess the classic black is on sale at nordstrom I would go for the big one over the small I would try selling the belt on fashionphile I feel like they would give you a decent amount :)

A Birkin a Kelly not a Constance could ever be called basic bags, nor have I ever heard them being called that. Those bags are not always easy to get and they are also investment pieces. Great video.
Looove your vids but highly disagree with those Prada nylons being worth the money. Nylon and canvas are super cheap materials even the premium sourced fabrics aren’t worth it. Buuut that’s just my opinion. Keep the vids coming I’m obsessed!!

My mcm liz reversible tote is my favorite most used luxury purchase for all the reasons you mentioned I have it in black and it’s literally so practical the only thing is I would’ve gotten the large vs the med since I use it for “travel” and sometimes I want more space

Coach has been coming out with some great bags lately and their quality has not wavered. I still have basic leather ones from 99/2000!
Yes! I’ve basically only bought LV and Chanel for years and bought 2 Coach 1941 bags this year after taking a Coach break for probably 20 years!
I really recommend the Neverfull! 🥰 But also the Coach Cassie...I own a few designer bags as well...but in 2020, the Cassie was by far my fave!
