Really dug the interview as well as Daniel's vibe. You can tell he really doesn't want to reject a film unlike a lot of other programmers who are looking at the films as a sort of nuisance sometimes. (Which is why so many Fests just regurgitate the programs from other big Fests.)
I feel like HSFF does a great job of finding original stuff for the most part!

What is the best film class?

Does this have anything to do with the "Courage Film Festival" in Berlin? I am a finalist I just found out for my script "My Dad, my Friend and Me." I'm a bit curious how they judge films that might not be the judge's personal taste, but still may make a good and successful film. They shouldn't have only high-brow, serious films winning awards. My films tend to be more funny and lighter themed, even if they deal with serious issues.
