If you've decided to kill a creature, your sense of conviction has already eclipsed the value you place in that life. Huh, interesting design this time. I thought it was small until you found the other chamber, still fairly small but it is cool. Kind of looks like they were digging for a fourth chamber with the large offshoot/tunnel there.

The molten metal does not perfectly fill all voids (as he acknowledges in the description). You can see there is a second tunnel connecting the two large chambers, but the metal just didn't fill it. In the same way, the metal went halfway to the fourth chamber, but solidified before it could reach it. There is no knowing how many chambers there were in this nest, we just see what the metal managed to reach before cooling too much.
