      @@lindalewis5066 Y'know, I see people say that a lot, but isn't the bigger problem with death that it deprives a creature of continuing the experience of life? Who cares if it hurts or not? If you've decided to kill a creature, your sense of conviction has already eclipsed the value you place in that life. Telling yourself things about its level of sapience and the pain it will or won't endure is pointless.
      In any case, anthill art fun, ecological impact currently negligible.

    The average colony contains 100,000 to 500,000 workers and up to several hundred winged forms and queens. Queen ants can live 7 years or more, while worker ants generally live about 5 weeks, although they can survive much longer. There are two kinds of red imported fire ants - the single queen and multiple queen forms.

      @sourcererseven3858 2 роки тому +1

      The molten metal does not perfectly fill all voids (as he acknowledges in the description). You can see there is a second tunnel connecting the two large chambers, but the metal just didn't fill it. In the same way, the metal went halfway to the fourth chamber, but solidified before it could reach it. There is no knowing how many chambers there were in this nest, we just see what the metal managed to reach before cooling too much.
