Harry was definitely favored in 1D by most fans and press. He had a "womanizer" image given to him by Simon Cowell although you can clearly tell he is far from that and quite the gentleman. Many people who interviewed the boys focused on harry and specifically his love life. The fans noticed that he was always the lead in songs and the main focus of most interviews. All of the 1D boys are extremely talented and artists like niall or Louis who had a lot of vocal growth during one direction went unnoticed and unappreciated. So yes, harry was the "favorite" by most because of his womanizer image and public love life that he never wanted. Anyone who knows harry knows he's a very private person and doesn't want his private life like relationships in the public spotlight which leads many to believe that a lot if not all of his relationships including the one with Taylor swift were publicity stunts to uphold his womanizer image.
Zayn Malik is not trash. Zayn Malik's character has been assassinated in the press for dirty entertainment industry reasons. If you look at the logic of Zayn leaving the band (which does not make sense both in intention and in execution) and if you look at the difference between what he's said in person (in his few recorded interviews) and in printed (i.e. manipulatable) interviews, you can tell there's something super fishy going on. I mean, for heaven's sake, just look at his lyrics (esp. from Mind of Mine). He's a thoughtful, respectful, gentle person who keeps referring to being in pain and being silenced. His public persona is disgraceful, but that's not under his control.
Youre right. I feel so sad for him. He has anxiety and his songs were not acknowledged by the management of 1D. He had a eating disorder. He was together with Perrie for PR ( i strongly belive that), thats whz littke mix cot famous. After he left 1D he broke up with her (bc PR). She then claimed it was over a text mesage, wich he denied (he is a loving and caring person and i belive that he wouldn't do that). He got backslash from 1D fans just bc he put his happines and health first after 5yrs. He is a wonderful loving, simple, gorgeous, sweet, caring person and without him hand Harry 1D is not 1D thats why Harry asked for a Hiatus (wich he also asked during Zayns eating disorder but it was declined) it was granted after that.

Harry was and are my favourite. First it was because he was the youngest, and the most handsome in my opinion. But after a while I realised that it was not just that. He is so respectful, sweet, kindhearted, a really good songwriter and an excelent performer. Most important he is so down to Earth and not full og himself. He is an ANGEL and deserve just love.

For your question at 18:50, yes he was the favorite out of all the guys in 1D. In an interview with Harry, Louis and Niall, they agreed that Harry was the favorite.
When you asked of he was the "favorite" in 1d, there are mixed answers for that. He was definitely favorited right away, because of his looks, and just the fact that he is an amazing human being, but I believe he is the most, well known, I guess, and mostly because of the press. He was always on the news because of dating rumors, and potential songs written about him, but that was never really him. So I guess, yes, he is kind of a household name, but not always for the right reasons, mostly because of rumors, and fake stories. Be also did/does a lot that the other boys dont, like acting, and basically being the face of Gucci, so that's another reason he is extremely popular. But yes, in my opinion from what I have seen, Harry is one of, if not THE most popular from the band and has been since the beginning. (He also very focused on in interviews, making most of the questions about him, and he was the "main singer" of the group, usually getting the most parts, and taking over most of Zayn's part after he left, which also added to his popularity.)

To answer your question if Harry is the fave I could say Yes but I think every member have their own great fanbase but Harry in general is known even the celebrities love him. He is charming ang kind. But as a 1D fan him and Louis is my fave if you want someone who is worthy of your time to react then LouisTomlinson's solo is so underrated yet so good. He wrote a song after her mom died called Two of Us and it was one of the most touching song I've heard. All his songs is meaningful and with great lyrics. Also another fact Louis wrote most of 1D songs (4th and 5th album) so I think he deserves recognition too 😁 I hope you give it a try. Thanks for liking Harry he is one of a kind. Looking forward to your other vids. I really hope Louis is there at some point haha. tbh everyone had their own favorite. each of the boys had their own group of people who loved them. personally for me zayn and liam were tied for my favorite. in terms of personality and vocal ability and just how wonderful they both were. all the boys have their own thing about them that made them so loveable but like with most groups everyone is going to have their bias. it doesn't mean you love the other boys less, it just meant you loved that boy a little bit more than the rest. (although for some i know that's not the case, some people actively hated some of the other boys and it's awful but an unfortunate thing that does happen) none of the other boys resented each other or anything because of it.
