Sharing a testimony that might strengthen God's children. These sermons are very up to date. A few days ago I went for a cup of coffee with a very dear old family friend. We call Him St Nicholas. St Nicholas and I sat under a beautiful chestnut tree, in a small cafe behind a football stadium. We spoke about restoration work at St Mary's church being launched a month from now. Suddenly a demoniac entered the cafe garden. A skinny, bald man pulling a small dog on a leash. As he approached our table he started twisting and wiggling like a snake. He wore sunglasses but I felt his provocative stare. He sat opposite of me & started probing. I could hear his provocation but continued conversation with my old friend. We laughed and remembered some good old stories. This time I decided not to shift attention. The demoniac became nervous. He was moving his upper body very fast in an unarticulated manner. I felt some of his foul spirit "friends" trying to find an entry point. I looked straight at him and said: "In the name of Jesus, God's will be done upon You!". The demoniac's dog wrapped it's leash around the chair and the man fell down pulling his table and the table of people sitting near him. All of the glasses fell down and broke, there was a complete mess where he sat. The cafe owner came & threw him out. Peace has returned to our little space. All of this happened just a moment after I mentioned Jesus.
The Lord really does do all things new each day - have You noticed the strength returning? Do things the way God instructs You. It might seem We live surrounded by the same problems, look deeper. The wicked are perishing and You are testifying to that each day. There is no reason to expect reruns anymore. Use the Word to bond & break. Be confident. Thank You for this sermon. I am a sinner, But I seek the Lord.
I need God everyday,
Being a sinner is worse,
I'm always worried.
Without God, without the Lord, without the King, without the father.
I am weak, I can't do anything.
And I think I am also a Nicodemus.
Although I hate people that make fun of my bible, I only have new testament bible.
It is still the bible, the story and histories of the disciples, innocent people died to write the words of God. And I hate people that makes fun of it.
