This was great, it was a reunion. The original band did their farewell concert on the steps of the Sydney Opera House too. Sadly, original drummer Paul Hester had taken his own life. The Split Enz/Crowded House rabbit hole is really worth going down. This was Neil Finn singing, his brother Tim Finn is equally talented.
❤ Neil Finn's voice sends me directly back to the 80s 😊 You've probably heard "Don't Dream It's Over" and "Something so Strong." Their melodies and lyrics had a nostalgic quality, even back in the day. You may have also heard his earlier band, the Split Enz.
Neil Finn is one of Eddie Vedder's best friends, they been on stage together many times when they would tour Australia. Eddie sang with Liam Finn also. (Split Ends). That was freakin awesome!! Magical 🎆 Awesome reaction Rory!! 😊💓🤘✌️You should definitely watched Eddie and those two on stage. Thank You Sarge for the awesome request!!
Awesome little tag right there Carol King song "I feel the earth move under my feet, I feel the sky tumbling down tumbling down im about to lose control of my very soul all over all over!! Totally awesome!! 😊💓🤘✌️
Nice hair cut I hardly recognised you! This is a very memorable experience indeed! A little sad even. This was their farewell to the world concert! On another note could I suggest you check out Jimmy Barnes singing with his eldest son David Campbell “You’ll never walk alone”, yes the good old Liverpool theme song. It shows a different side of Jimmy and his voice but also special because their father/son relationship has a history. Jimmy was only 16 when David was conceived and so David spent his first 10 years thinking his grandmother was his mother, his mother was his sister and Jimmy was just a family friend.

Brilliant band, Neil Finn is one of the best lyricists and vocalists of all time.

Saw them in November last year, still as awesome as they ever were, supported by The Teskey Brothers, another band you might like to have a look at .
Great suggestion!
