I had seen him on The Victory Tour in Foxboro, Massachusetts, I was approx 50 feet from the stage. He was taller than I thought and although I was into rock and roll I absolutely loved the show, No autotune, All M.J. and to be truthfully honest, He didn't need his brothers. He was the whole show. While watching, You knew this man was on a level all by himself. AMAZING

MJFANGIRL TV It was really exciting because he came to Perth Western Australia specifically to donate 2 million dollars to the kids hospital and I was there at the time and I was only 10 years old ! He was so cute and had such a sweet smile and voice ! He touched me gently on my head and since then I've loved him forever ! I will always remember this special day !

I was living in Augusta, Georgia during the time of James Brown's funeral and MJ was there also. My dad always tells me that this was the only time that I was in an area near MJ. I still find it crazy to this day that I was most likely just a couple miles away from him.

What a bummer! I was lucky enough to meet MJ at the Virgin Record store signing in 2001 in time square, had to wait in line all night tho lol But wow what an experience, he was so nice and talked to me, I shook his hand, got his autograph and have it all on video! 🤩

Budapest, 1996, history world tour, during the Earth song, when he goes with that thing over the audience, just in half over the the fans, when he is holding on his hands and legs, with the body out.... He looked down some 2 meters over me exactly eyes to eyes, screaming..."what about...." (song lyrics)... I have no words to describe the feeling, I was 16 at that time... God bless him, we all miss him. One of my best moments in life

My dad was on tour with the Jackson’s.. he was in the band for the opening act “sister sledge”... this was in the late 70s... I never saw him in concert.. I always thought that I would 😢

I've been in Michael's company quite a few times over the early to mid 2000's. The first was 7th March 2001 (my Mum's birthday!). Then, the next year, we actually saluted each other on the 15th June 2002 at the "Killer Thriller" party in London (while he was hanging off of a balcony...serious money offered for anyone who has footage of this moment!!!).
There were several moments after the trial in October of 2005 - at the recording studio where I got to give him my tape of me performing as him in a tribute show (he later called my cell and, somehow, I froze and didn't answer...), seeing him entering and exiting Billy Eliott at the theatre and eating pizza, ordered by MJ, for all the freezing fans outside his hotel!
Last time I saw Michael was in 2006 at the WMAs where he sang a few words of "We Are The World"....what magical times! Makes me so sad to know that I can never see and interact with him again. I will miss and reminisce about those moments 'til the day I die

"honestly he was pure magic and I wish I could have met him. He was my inspiration and still is one of the biggest influences in my life" I couldn't agree more and feel exactly the same way. In the flesh, I was stunned by the energy that radiated from his presence. It must have been something he was cultivating his whole life in the spotlight.

Well I’m two years late to this party LOL. But I’m a fan from Almost your dads generation. I Met him 2x in one day during his press junket for off-the-wall. First he showed up at banana records in Oakland and then he went to the nightclub called silks in Emeryville and of course me and my friends were chasing him around on the bus! Very shy and quiet was his demeanor. During the second meeting he was like didnt I just see you guys?! And he giggled and took more pictures with us. At the record store we were crazy but we had calmed down by the time we got to Silks. About nine years later after the Bad era, I bowled On a team with Bert Caldwell (Nick Caldwell of the Whispers wife) her nephew was a part of MJs Security. He found out how much of a fan I was And called MJ from the bowling alley. Well I couldn’t contain myself to really get a conversation with him but Michael told him to give me his number. So I got to talk to Michael for the next three months. We had so many different conversations including the fact that he couldn’t remember a lot of the songs he recorded as a kid for example Maria you were the only one. It was a whirlwind of conversations but before I knew it three months had passed And his number was changed. Then I found out that is how his handlers did because Michael gave his phone number to everybody he met practically LOL My security friend was out of a job until the next tour so that is where my dream ended. 😓

    Hyderabad city, Telangana State, India....
During 96 and 97 was the last world tour of MJ's.. That time I was 8th standard in school... That time I was already a big fan of him.. that time I already learnt moonwalk dance and few other steps... That time I was thinking to go to Mumbai city to see his live performance but I couldn't bcz of I was too young to go myself bcz no one was ready to bring me to that place..... in 2009 I was working in a private sector and I really planned to go to London only to see him but it was my and every MJ fans badluck..... Now each and every day i watch his videos stuff and remember him like he is one of my family members ...I cried a lot in my office when I watched the news of him in 2009.....
Now in my free time I practice and learn all his dance moves...... I even performed several times in my office annual celebrations and auditions too.... Next year is his 10th anniversary so I am planning....no... I will be giving MJ tribute in my Hyderabad City and in my office too....
MJ you are my great inspiration
Love you so much from my bottom of my heart.......
You will be forever in all your fans....
You will be the greatest legend.....
    Your Legacy will be forever....
When I was kid I got to know about MJ by my own eldest brother who used to listen MJ's music in the MJ's dangerous era (in 92 93)...
I also started watching MJ video music in our VCR casette player with my brother.... ooo my god I was thrilled to watch his dance moves Then I started doing some dance steps like Michael That time when nobody at home.....90s are my great memories of all time.... If I have a Time machine I will definitely prefer first to go to early 80s to see MJ bcz that time he was becoming world music icon....
The world greatest entertainer of all time....
World most popular person of all time...
    King of Pop 💃🏄👏👍💛💚💙💝👞🎩🌠

So impressed that you can read & speak Japanese.👍🏽
First & only time that I saw #MichaelJackson was at Madison Square Garden in New York City (wait for it..) in 1972.
My oldest Sister surprised all of us (we are 8 siblings but only 7 of us lived in NYC ~ The Bronx at that time♥️ AND we took the NYC Subway to #MSQ to boot). I was born in 1959 .. A year after #MJ was born so we literally were raised with the stories, images & artistry of everything Jackson ❤️❤️❤️ From the Jackson5 thru The Jacksons & that includes all the sisters 2 esp Janet Jackson.. A living legend in her own right .. Yes, #MichaelJackson stole the show as usual in 1972, but his brothers are so much more talented than almost every act then & now.. so they should be remembered too. Even LaToya has proven she has talent (after trying for decades to find it👏🏾) on the show #TheMaskedSinger 💜
Yes, we were up in the bleachers WITH BINOCULARS (just one pair which we passed around like it was a hot potato cuz we all needed to see #MJ do his thing) and since my oldest sister was the "adult" (abt 26?yrs old) & I was the next oldest there (just a yr younger than #MJ) at 13 y.o. it seems so surreal that "little Michael" was the front guy, a seasoned professional, at just 13 1/2 y.o. (cuz his birthday was in August & the concert b4 his 14th Birthday).
Anyway, I'm 60 y.o. now. The concert changed my life!!! I regret not going to see him more often in my lifetime, but every single time he was on TV my ENTIRE Family watched. From the first time he was on the Ed Sullivan Show throughout his entire life we watched. When he died, it was like a Family member had died. What more could he have given? His ENTIRE Family is like my Family, but I know it's simply b/c The Jacksons have been the soundtrack of my entire life. Still, the void he left is so humongous that even after >10yrs it's still incalculable. Wow. 🤔
So, the mainstream Media can go "suck my socks" 🤗 if they think ANYTHING they say can erase, reduce, limit or censure the greatest Entertainer that ever walked this planet. Alive, he was so legendary he was thought of as 'otherworldly" but he was very much a kid of the 1970s. I'm so in awe of the internet & this platform where you can watch so many videos which depict his expansive Artistry. The Jacksons have dealt with racism, people's ignorance their entire lives. #MichaelJackson is 100% innocent. A proud "Black Man" who carried his Culture with him worldwide to tear down the walls & limitations of racism.. By using his vision, his Artistry to promote what's positive, good & sustainable.❤️
We Fans must continue to support the good, his music & his art, cuz no one has been more slighted b/c of the melanin in his skin than #MichaelJackson .. His life & work speak volumes about #AmericanExcellence & pursuing the #AmericanDream simply b/c you believe in your own talents & abilities♥️ Learn from #MJ .. Fight the best fight U can to make your world BETTER.
    #EndRacism #RestoreMJSTATS #TheKingMJ4Ever #JacksonFamilyRESPECT❤️ and yes, I CELEBRATE #MichaelJackson & all the Jacksons #Music & #Artistry & will 4 Ever.💜 At 60 y.o. I know the most important things in life are to #LovePeople .. to #DoTheRightThing & to #FollowYourHeart♥️ #MJFANGIRL : U R SO SPECIAL .. WE LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOUR CHANNEL. Keep keepin' on👍🏽 Support her y'all.💜❤️☮

I had a close encounter of meeting MJ. I went to his concert with my cousins and a friend. We got separated from one of my cousins. We watch the entire show then we went to the hotel that the Jacksons were staying at. This was the tour when MJ performed his Off the Wall album songs. That album was a big hit at the time. One of my cousins decided to dress like MJ’s Off the Wall album. Back to when we got separated. What we didn’t know was my cousin met a popular DJ from our city and he got her backstage and she met theJackson family including his parents so they invited her to sit with the family at the concert. After the concert we went to the hotel to meet up with the Jacksons and see them off to the next city. I was standing in front of the elevator when the Jacksons got off and I was able to wave and say hi the MJ. My cousin said the entire family was very nice and MJ very honored that she took the time to dress like him. At another Jackson’s concert at the end of the concert MJ wiped his sweat off with the towel and threw it in the audience. Well as you can imagine that was mass chaos between me and a few other girls started a tug a war over the towel. A security guard cane over to break it up. But then he still had the problem of solving who was getting the towel. So he decided to cut the towel up and he gave each of us a piece of the towel and that was enough to satisfy each of us. I can only imagine how terrified he must have been to get in between a few screaming teenagers and a MJ towel 😂😂. Years later I met Mrs Katherine Jackson and Latoya. I spoke to them and they both were very nice. Mrs Jackson was funny. We were shopping in the same place and she was commenting on one of the items for sale. I could tell from her comment she wasn’t extravagant but if she paid for it, it was going to be worth the money.

Well, I've missed the opportunity without knowing: We were on a vacation in St. Tropez, France with my parents (must have been in the early 90's), when we all visited a restaurant for dinner.
The next day, the local newspaper showed a picture of MJ in that very restaurant just a few hours later. I was so sad, the vacations were over for me.
On the Dangerous-Tour in germany I finally met him and he gave me an autograph, but I had no chance of talking to him, he just leaned out of his car to sign my picture.

Something similar happened to me with Prince. I was at an intimate Lianne La Havas show and word was that Prince was in the building. I freaked out and wanted to hang around after the show but my housemate wanted to leave and it was getting pretty late. Something told me to stay, but I didn’t wanna be a jerk and leave my homegirl hanging so we left.
The very next day the venue got on twitter and said “Yeah, Prince was here. If you saw him, you saw him. If you didn’t, you didn’t.” When I tell you I was HURT! I mean it. I was HURRRTTT!
    EDIT:
I never got to meet Michael. However, I have met LaToya, TJ, Prince, Paris and Blanket. Joseph, who was actually quite funny and we had some nice conversations. Then there’s Mrs. Jackson, who was so kind to me. I got emotional meeting her. She reminded me of someone I lost in 2008 that meant so much to me. She gave me the warmest hug. She also gave me a quick tour of their house in Gary.

I am oddly more amazed you know Japanese😅! You definitely would have stood out. I enjoy Japanese films so it is so cool you were there with a host family likely enjoying Miso soup. I never "met" him but saw him in vision. What came through is strong empathy, affectionate but also stubborn at times, very methodical, and high-level intelligence. He liked to talk a lot to those he trusted (even though it seems the opposite with the press). The true fans likely know all that. At least you saw him live in concert!

MJFANGIRL TV Thank YOU for the reply! It was definitely a tough experience until he came. It was raining, we had to wait there without food or knowing if he was still coming...etc. I wish I could have stopped you from leaving but I didn’t speak English back then. But the announcement kept telling us it was completely up to Michael at that point so they didn’t even know if he was coming or not. I recognized myself shivering as I was seeing him. Nobody else on the planet can make me shiver just by his presence.
Recently I went to another pop up store in Odaiba area and got some vintage stuff! I’m also going to see Moonwalker at a live house so it’s exciting!

One night in 1999. I was in the Virgin mega store there was someone walking around dressed like a Muslim woman caught the attention of a few of us. So I started following him around I see Rodney jerkens I say you bout to put the king back on the throne. He says yes so I continue to follow him just then a security guy says you can't follow him so I go over to the book section pick up a magazine. Someone comes right next to me shoulder length it was Michael. And what did I do?? Nothing. I froze up couldn't move. My biggest regret

OMG you all can be so happy that you have the chance to meet him even if you didn't. I never have or had the chance to because I was too young. I was only 5 when he died and I don't really know who he was or is and the thing that I can't remember anything of this time, of this 5 years is so sad. I don't remember the moment when I heared that he is dead and I can't remember any moment I could have heared some news about him like the trail of something and that is really sad. I can't say that there was any time where he was only a couple of miles away from me or a moment when I could have seen him but I leave before this could happend. I was to young to understand that so for me Michael Jackson was always dead. I don't remember the time when he wasn't before I become a fan I didn't even know that we lived the same time for 5 years in my mind Michael Jackson was always the dead legend. that is so sad

I met Michael back in 1998 when he campaigned for a Casino in Detroit alongside Don Barden. I have pictures and I wish UA-cam had a way that you could upload images into the message box. I have soooo much to say about the 3 encounters I had with him but I don’t know if it would allow me. My name is Kimberly Wright on Facebook if you send me a request I can share all of this with you.

    • @MJFANGIRLTV
      @MJFANGIRLTV  4 роки тому +2

I wouldn’t say she lied but there was a miscommunication for sure. Between the two of us, between the MTV staff that was manning the red carpet and so I can’t put the blame anywhere. However, if I were there alone, I probably would’ve stayed there all night til Michael Jackson showed (or didn’t show).
