You missed a really obvious pairing in Harald and Ragnar. Clarity will boost the skill damage of Harald's axe when it comes around for the second time via instaproc. Ragnar's primary skill will also boost the power of that X by 40% as well as the counterattack damage that they put out. Finally Ragnar's museum buff will help mitigate the additional damage Harald takes every time his primary skill reduces his defense.

But we’ll never know for sure, maybe he existed or maybe his tales are a combination of fact and fiction from other peoples lives, not enough certain information out there to say he is definitely fictional and not real.

I would suggest Joan/Ragnar, Joan's 4th skill will trigger with 40% of Ragnar's skill damage + Joan's current buff and the support tree can provide a very good time cycle with a decent skill damage reduction .

What about a city rally with Ragnar primary and max/relic Freddy secondary? It seems like they should get good skill bonuses and synergy for any troop type? On paper it looks like some good stats for city rallies?
Caeser/Mehmed can offer better kit than Ragnar/Frederick. If you think Frederick gives higher skill damage than Mehmed in city rallies then you should read Mehmed's skills again.

I believe what they mentioned was that they were looking at mixed troop type commanders for city defense, and that rallies and garrisons it isn't META. But I think they did also mention equipment for this, so who knows : )
I think should be revisted after Lilith comes out with the Ghengis Khan buff. Depending on his buff, Ragnar might make him relevant because of the short skill cycle and Ragnar defensive buffs from the museum.

I spent 2 years playing rok but no one noticed how leadership working with equipments you like cav and inf or cav and archer stats , you can benefits from the extra stats and mix troops
10% damage on cities is really terrible considering the fact that Bjorn has a 15% damage to cities and he is only an Epic commander.. plus personally I think Bjorn is a better commander than Ragnar, he deals 750 skill damage and debuffs 3 enemies for 15% skill damage taken.. boosts inf att and def.. and an insta proc damage for 800 factor..

Been a while since we had a gold key commander review. Commander reviews even for “meh” commanders are still fun to watch

thutmose+ysg has been such a blast to use in kvk 1, expertised both around z6 opening and oh boy was it fun.
