- Banky W and Adesua Etomi or the Wellingtons as they’re famously known are undoubtedly two of the most popular faces in the country. Banky W, a musical icon, entrepreneur and politician kicked off his estimable career many years back while schooling in the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. After graduating, he moved back to Nigeria at the tail-end of the noughties where he quickly established as one of the greatest musical minds the country has ever seen. Adesua Etomi, his wife, has led an equally exemplary career as well. After graduating the University Of Wolverhampton with first-class honours, she also moved back to Nigeria where she distinguished herself as one of the country’s leading actors.
For the first of its kind, the pair join Ebuka in the Blackbox, discussing their individual careers, family, childbirth and much more.

Listening to Susu saying she was from a broken home. That just gave me another insight that not every child that is from a broken home or had a single parent (mum), would turn out bad. Her character is awesome. Kudos to her mum!!❤️
Single parenting is hard work. On average, the children might not have even seen two parents being agreeable, living together and compromising.
Children from broken homes turn out NICE Tbh
I know you know a lot of children with both parents that turned out BAD
What’s needed is good Parenting not the PARENTS
@@silent781 You are nitpicking! I was one on those from a single mum family. Seeing my friend getting picked up by their Dad or whenever Dad shows up in school tug my heart till today. I turned out Ok, what I will never do is allow my family to become a single moma household. I will be dead.
susu, you are an amazing person. I have not met you and I dont really know whether I will met you but I really appreciate how you inspire❤❤❤much love queen susu
That is a myth TBH .. they turn out very good
I like that both Adesua & Banky do not speak about their experiences with their relatives from a place of bitterness but from a place of understanding & forgiveness. Well-done to everyone on this interview.
I could never interview my friends and have straight conversations like this😂 😂 we’d have branched to one random gists every 2mins😂😂Ebuka the GOAT 🙌🙌🙌
I am telling you, and the fact that he's even acting like he didn't knew all the stuffs they were sharing
Ebuka really knows how to get the information out..
He asks some private questions as if it doesn't matter
Lol. When it's in a professional environment, you'll do it.
I even forgot they were friends
Same here..Lol..He really tried
I swear EBUKA is so good at what he does
He has the talent to make interviews seem like the most interesting conversations that draw you in and keep you wanting more. He's amazing.
@@bees0la276 odidi 1hour plus interview and you won’t bored of listening
Ebuka is the best.!
Pls don’t swear. The bible says we should not (Matthew 5)🙏🙏

They really love each other very well...this is a celebrity marriage that is worthy to emulate not those ones that makes marriage looks like a war zone
I love the individuality and the togetherness existing in the same space with the Wellingtons.
It's the permission to talk about her having covid for me. Respecting privacy 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
If you paused to go watch Mr. Oke gather here for a meeting. May God continue to bless Mr. Oke and all the intentional educationists out there. Amen.
I just did😂
I love how adesua knows so much about Banky and he too knows about her. At the same time I also like how they’ve really come far in life❣️
I love how assertive and self-confident Adesuwa is.
I love how Adesua is enamoured by BANKY. Like she looks in wonder and has this beautiful girly sweet vibe! It’s so cute… and these stories! They’ve both come a long way! So happy y’all did this. Thanks Ebuka!
See eeheen nne love isn't fairy tale. It dangerous to look at it like that...
I thought I was the only who noticed😅😍..
"when you are not living in your parents house,it can never be your parents house." This is soooooo true 😭😭😭😭
I love how they are unashamed to relate their every success to God.
Swrs mehn I love dat too
mehn the best part of the interview for me was the moment Ebuka looked over and called out to adesua '' aunty'', and she replied saying, ''Hello''. that part sweet me die😄😄😄
I am a big fan of these two, I really adore them both. God bless them and thier family
I tell you this everytime I hear this banky's story about staying out and freezing I still get chills, love love how Adesua holds his hands, it's like saying babe I'm here that phase is over so let's talk about it and laugh about it, well people here you have it not everyone successful today had it easy...I pray God continue to bless the Wellington's ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It’s Ebuka acting surprised to answers he already knows for me😂😂
I swear 😂😂😂
Hahahaha@ Tiwatope u are funny
Banky's parents had a real investment mindset. That's such a great lesson for parents coming up today. His mom handled that situation with the teacher very well. Love hearing about women like Adesua's mom.
This abuse by relatives ehn. We need to talk about it. Why accept to take in a kid if you can't love them? God bless that woman who showed Banky kindness. Those people were cruel!
Ebuka is an amazing interviewer, he makes you really relax. This interview increase my appreciation for Banky. He is so deep, kind and respectful. And it's good to hear people's story and know where they are coming from. Now I understand Adesua's occasional traits of insecurity and defense. Assuming the role of a caretaker when you should actually be cared for does have its emotional effects.
And Banky is so gracious! See the way told the story about being left in the snow! Wow!
Interesting watching Ebuka react to some stories he’s heard a ton of times 😂
I know right? 😂😂😂
😅😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
One of the greatest couple and mentor of our time. I can never flip over anything that concerns them without investing my time into listening.
Beautiful couple 💕💕💕 Ebuka's voice for me
Now, this is so me.
It’s the accuracy of this statement for me😊

Dope interview. Great Job Ebuka.
Banky & Adesua thanks for sharing.

Who can get banky and mostly susu to speakkkk like this 💃💃Thankyou Ebuka and bounc for this
It's the way Ebuka is doing as if he doesn't know all this things before now😂😂😂
Susu's love language kinda shows in her interviews. She loves being listened too & I find it cute.
Beautiful couple interview, Susu is definitely the family spokesperson...lol
And yes, I went back to watch the YES/NO video again... shout out to Mr Oke
I see why Adesua appearance, can tell you that she is a kind soul. Much love ❤️❤️
Do like this 🙌🙌 if you paused this video to go and watch the yes/no video just to see mr Oke. He looks younger than I expected and I’m glad Banky still keep in touch with him. 🤗🤗may God continue to preserve their lives.
Hahahhaha, I did same. I paused and went looking for the video to watch.
Banky and Susu are such a breath of fresh air 🤩 Ebuka was great as always
Susu's mum raised an amazing queen ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ebuka's reactions and sarcasm is killing me 😂😂😂
Listening to this two, it's what I needed now.
Thanks to Ebuka 🙏 for hosting them.
Hearing Susu say she from she from broken home makes me still believe that no matter your background, you can still stand strong
Both very Inspiring!! ❤️ Now going to watch the video to Yes/No again so I can spot Mr Òké! 😁 I rinsed that jam when it came out! 😅 Tune!! 💚
I couldn't wait to watch this when I got the notification. I knew it would be brilliant. My 3 favourite beings in 1 room talking. I am all smiles while being emotional at the same time because I love them so much. They are such an inspiration. Love and light all the way from Namibia
The story of Banky’s robbery really cracked me up 🤣😂
How can this interview cut off from where its just getting interesting!! So hilarious 😂 😃 😄 after the cross comes the crown....nothing good comes easy. Lovely couple to behold!
Please interview Ibrahim & Linda too
OMG 😱… 1hr + and I did not forward this video … unbelievable 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽…
I enjoyed every bit … heading for part 2 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Gosh! Banky and Susu are hilarious. I enjoyed this conversation and I look forward to the follow up series.
I need more please. Watching this was needed. It was Banky was stealing a glaze at the picture on the screen and how thankful they are about their individual past struggles. Grace and Grind!
Thanks for this show my best couple enjoyed every bit of it and learnt from it. So much Adesua and Banky God bless you both. Ebuka thank you so much

Never knew Adesua was from a broken home; whatever happens to you is a function of your choice.
My home is blessed really💖🔥🔥
Its how adesua is fighting hard not to blurt out her UK Accent but the thing dey escape once once 🤣🤣😂😂😂
I clocked that right away.
Adesua searched Scripture herself.what a great message. We ought to search Scripture ourselves so that we wouldn't be deceived.
Wow, Ebuka you Nailed this as always. Got to love Adesua and Banky Great Couple. That Kidnapped story is unbelievable. Wow
I can't just wait for the concluding part. Singing Ebute meta with a gun to Banky's head 😆 .
See d way am smiling watching this interview... God blessed susu and banky together. I love you both. Ebuka great job.
Amazing interview! I absolutely enjoyed watching this, not surprising because i love Banky and Susu. It’s nice how they shared their past hardships as well as personal experiences on camera and it’s just mind blowing how God made everything work together for their good; both as individuals and as a couple.
The part i found most hilarious was Ebuka saying “What a waste” in response to Banky studying civil engineering😂😂.
Watching this just emphasizes how crucial it is to make God the center of ones life.
Omo, had a good laugh😂😂
Thought I would already know most of the story, Ebuka is a good host👌🏾
I wouldn’t have sang what are you capable of in such situation tooo😂😂😂😂. Thank God for life
You are right Adesua. People must find God for themselves.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What a Beautiful couple, I'm very impressed about their story, God Bless your home and your family in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen 🙏🙏🙏❤

I am really moved by this particular interview, my take home "you get fulfillment in trying and doing your best" kai challenges comes harder when you try chasing fulfillment. I really need to do more.
Thanks Ebuka.
Alot of people dont know Banky has been working hard since early 2000 i remembered a cd from him when he was in NY dated 2006
If there's anything I love about this couple is there simplicity
I absolutely love this couple and this interview is the absolute sign I need to keep going! 😻✨
I share your thoughts too
Im so touched by this interview i really admire this couple talking about the good times and bad times. May God continúe to strengthen your union. Nuff blessings 🙌.
The last part of mr banky story is just too hilarious 😂 😂
Im so grateful listening to this interview. Ebuka well done. This was so inspiring listening to Susu and Banky. Taking us through your lives history. This just made me realize how valuable the 80's and 90's were compared to now. Do people still value the act of working hard to get to were you want to be? Things are so different and depressing. Thanks so much for this reminder
The hard times actually shape you if you are ready. Today no one is even ready to put in the work. Everyone's looking for a short cut to success.
Wow what a refreshing interview. Such an inspiring life lessons!. Thank you for sharing your stories with us, and bless Ebuka for channeling it❤❤❤❤❤🎉😊😮❤
Is De way susu looks at banky wen he talks for me🥰soo lovely
Great interview Ebuka! One of the most enjoyable I've tuned into for a long time
“Banky was kidnapped” 😭😂😂
Is the way Banky said he mixed something and it was bad and Ebuka said in this TikTok age you will never know 😂😂😂😂
Such an awesome interview
Everyone in the set understood the assignment
Enjoyed every bit of this chat/interview, thank you Ebuka for bringing my favorite couple.......learnt so much!
I'm inspired by this honestly...I'm launching out. Things have been pretty bad lately but I just know that I have to get ahead. The fire in my heart has been fanned to flames.
"From Ebute Meta" with a gun in your face 🤣🤣 Didn't wanna sing "what are you capable of" cos I didn't wanna find out 🤣🤣🤣. Banky oooo
That last part is a classic example of what Yorubas refer to as ''oro buruku pelu erin''. What!!! It could've ended badly but thank God for mercies!
I loved this interview😂😂😂 Tunde’s story as the hype man 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lmaooooooo.. the last one minute..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.. I legit I'm crying
The love these two have for each other is palpable. Its sad that malicious gossipers are trying to destroy it. Good that they have learnt not to respond.
I love what God does with brokenness. He adorns you with joy that people dont even believe you went through all that stuff when you tell your story....#OnlyGod
I really enjoyed this!!!! Well-done Ebuka
Really enjoying this atm...still listening but had to stop and comment
What a story. Especially the robbers story. 😂
I love them!. I've always loved Adesua from the first time I watched her in knocking on heaven's door
Oh my. Same Here
Susu is drooling over her husband, you love to see it. I wish them the very best life has to give
Omg... This was so worth the time spent, i was just in class, watching this. I'm so inspired by their stories, "Hard times only make you stronger". Thank you for sharing Susu and Banky💝
Big bros Ebuka abeg make dem give us continuation abeg 🙏🙏
