Thanks for a great video! I have SCAMP 157 "Peanut", which I sail in the San Francisco area. I've had the boat for a few years and I love it. It's nice to see some SCAMP videos UA-cam.
Thank you! We were recently at the Wooden Boat festival and met Noddy #11 as well. It's a small SCAMP world! We may be in the SF area soon, we'll look for Peanut and if you see us, come say hi!
Mussel or shellfish can be eaten if you are full, when you are hungry its kinda stomach ache or LBM, especially at night... good to eat lunch time. Reason its longer to digest...maybe.
Hi Simeon! It was the sailrite kit, it turned out ok, but I will say they say to add grommets along the foot of the sail, which for the SCAMP (as you know) is not the case. I added them and then when we went to rig it up, realized they weren’t needed. I was bummed but other than that, it was a good kit. Did you use the kit as well?
No, Breena, I bought one of the SCAMP sails from Small Craft Advisor. I don’t think I would have the patience or skills to sew one. I asked because on of the current builders is considering using one of their kits
Simeon Baldwin, I thought it was a great kit aside from the grommets they include for the foot and add in the directions. You could pass that info along to them so they don’t make the same mistake I did 😉 Hope all is well with you and Noddy!
Over the years you two have not changed much. Love looking at your older videos. Be happy, be safe.
Thanks! Noddy is getting ready for Feb 23 Shipwrights Regatta and the new June 22 Salish 100 cruise. Stay safe in your new venture.
Thank you guys so much for doing this!
Hey Nick! Thanks for watching! Hope all is well.
You guys are great. So much fun.
I'm going to have to use the quote: "present day Breena or future Breena" love it!!!

Breena, was that a Sailrite kit you used to build the sail? Nice job!

I prefer my vacations to be more about fun and less about survival...just sayin'.
