When you see open ticket barriers, you must still pass the ticket/card.

1. Approx how much time it takes to clear immigration in terminal 4 and reach the central bus station?
2. From terminal 4, till what point can we carry the trollies? Can we take them till train platform?
Hi Ramit, It may vary from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the volume of arrival to clear the immigration. 30 minutes at least for the train. You can use the trolleys until you reach a barrier that it cannot go thru. No, you cannot use it up to the train platform. Better to use luggage with wheels. Good luck and be safe.

Hi, the central bus station is located at terminal 2. Check your plane ticket which terminal are you going to land. If not terminal 2 then you need to go to the train platform that will bring you to terminal 2. You have plenty of time, so no need to rush. Follow the signage closely and ask the airport staff for direction if you are not sure. If you are also landing at terminal 4, then just follow this video to reach the central bus station. Yeah it is enough but be mindful of the start of classes usually around September where the influx of foreign students may prolong the queuing time at the immigration counters up to 1.5 hours.
Central bus station is terminal 2 or 3? Once we board the train from terminal 4, how many stops is it to Central bus station?
Once we get off the train, can we get the trollies again till Central bus station?
Terminal 2. Although T2 and T3 are just adjacent to each other. Only one train stop and a few minutes walk. You can see it in the video (8:00). Yeah you can use the trolleys subject to its availability.

If I'm staying at a hotel in Terminal 4 the night before my flight from Heathrow Terminal 2, what are my options to get to T2 the next morning? Is it only free if I'm connecting from another flight on the same day? Can I walk between 4 and 2?

@@TheJm129 I would not advice you to walk but you can check the google maps for the duration. Subway is the shortcut because it is traversing below the airport. If you will walk, you need to go around the airport which may take some time.

Ticket is free for terminal transfer only. Check video at 3:23. The guy on black is getting the free ticket from the machine. Just select the other terminal as your destination and the machine will provide you a free ticket.

*Also how to know in which terminal mega bus stands t3 or t2? T2 and T3 are just adjacent to each other and the Central bus station is at the same area. If you are travelling inside UK by bus, go to central bus station. Same like what we did in this video. You can check it also in your bus ticket.
*And is train the only way to travel from t4 to t2,3? There might be other option but the train is the best and fastest. We never tried any except by train.

Train interval is 30 minutes. I suggest to allot at least 1 hour allowance to be safe.
Hello, I have seen you very helpful video. I see that you took the underground train first. But is this enough or one has to take the bus as well afterwards to reach Terminal 3. I thought once you take the underground train, it will take you to terminal 3, no bus needed. I will appreciate your help as I am confused . Thanks - Brian
Hi! In my video we transfer from terminal 4 to terminal 2,3 via underground train (landside transfer). That route can be done only if you have UK visa. In our case, we went to T2,T3 to reach the central bus station because we are travelling to Bath UK. But if you are on a connecting flight and you need to transfer terminal from T4 to T3 without UK visa, you need to ride the terminal transfer bus only. That is called air side transfer and it does not need UK immigration process. Just follow the signages and you'll be fine. You can ask the ground staff also for guidance.

Futhur to my search, I think, maybe, we Maltese can use the underground for Terminal transfers as the UK and Malta are both listed in the Schengen Area.

Depends on the volume of passengers in the immigration. Try to move faster. It is sufficient for normal condition.

I have ticket on Heathrow Express from T3 to Central London Peddington. However, i will land in T4. Which means, i have to go from T4 to T3 to ride the express train.
So if i follow your path and rode the train like you did in 8:20, will it take me straight to T3?

Yes it is enough for visit visa if not peak season but you have to move fast. If you are entering UK, immigration process may take more time depending on the season. Train transfer arrive every 30 minutes. But if you are a first timer in Student visa, immigration process alone sometimes takes 2 hours. If still possible, add more time allowance to be safe. Last time we were there, we allotted 4 hours. My immigration process took almost 1 hour only but my son being student has a different queue which took 2 hours. Good luck to your travel.

Hi, please clarify with your airline how they intend to transfer you from terminal 4 to terminal 3. If by bus only via tarmac then no need for transit visa. Hello, I'm taking a flight from Abu Dhabi to New york my layover is only 1h30m I'm landing at terminal 4 transferring to 3. I was informed that I will claim my baggage at JFK airport. What will my process be? Do I still need to go through immigration and security to transfer to terminal 3? Also how long would it take overall to go from terminal 4 to 3?
It might be a stupid question but since I am going to claim my baggage at JFK, I don't have to wait to claim my baggage right?
You don't need to go to immigration process. Just check the signage and follow the directions for terminal transfer. I believe you can see it on this video. It will take you about maybe an hour max. Yeah you can claim it in JFK at your designated baggage claim conveyor in no time.

Yes, buy bus ticket online. Print the ticket or save a PDF copy on your phone so the driver can scan it on the day of your travel.

I not really sure about that especially if you are going to enter the UK immigration. But if you're on a connecting flight and need to switch terminals then you don't need a UK visa.

Yes maam. Train interval is 30 minutes plus 30 minutes brisk walking. Immigration process is not included as it depends on the volume of passengers.

Hi Muhammad, I'm not sure on this but I think in UK you need to have a pre -approved transit visa especially if you are staying for more than 48 hours.

Hello. If the train was arranged by the airline then just ask them if your baggage were included in the arrangement or not. If you are a first timer student, better add some extra time because immigration process alone may take 2 hours sometimes. If you are not a student then it's fine. Immigration processing might be in London as they will not allow you to leave the airport without doing it. I still suggest you clarify it with your airline.

@@sahasdheer4579 If your train to Leeds is LNER, you need to look for the underground train station and go to King's Cross station. You can find the LNER terminal in Kings Cross station. Always check first with your airline company for details as they may have to assist you on how to reach your train to Leeds.

They told that it's my responsibility to transfer luggage while getting on train and if I miss the train , the airlines can't help me. Also to get the boarding details of the train , I need to checkin on LNER website. I'm really scared if I have sufficient time to do all this. Di na po kailangan kung di ka naman papasok sa UK. Hindi ka na aabot sa immigration kung terminal transfer ka lang. Check mo lang po yung mga signages papunta sa terminal mo para di ka maligaw o magkamali ng direksyon. Madami naman pong nag aasist na pwedeng pagtanungan kung kailangan.
