Damn I feel like I want to buy Hamilton a shot after this one. He never disappoints, but that’s a marathon of a vocal line to sing. Love this dude for going all out every time he sings.
As someone who knows, he can come across as a PRICK, but it's totally WORTH having a drink with him.
Knew these guys before 13 Reasons Why. They're so damn awesome!
That series had so many jams in it. 😊
Can no one else in this band sing? This song on the record has amazing backing vocals that add a lot to the feel of the song.
I'm Charming it’s just his voice as well, they record him multiple times and put it together, like bohemian rhapsody but just him
Lyrics:
I had a dream that you were mine
I've had that dream a thousand times
A thousand times, a thousand times
I've had that dream a thousand times
I left my room on the west side
I walked from noon until the night
I changed my crowd, I ditched my tie
I watched the sparks fly off the fire
I found your house, I didn't even try
They'd closed the shutters, they'd pulled the blinds
My eyes were red, the streets were bright
Those ancient years were black and white
The 10th of November, the year's almost over
If I had your number, I'd call you tomorrow
If my eyes were open, I'd be kicking the doors in
But all that I have is this old dream I've always had
A thousand times, a thousand times
I've had that dream a thousand times
A thousand times, a thousand times
I've had that dream a thousand times
I left my room on the west side
I walked from noon through the night
I changed my crowd, I ditched my tie
I watched the sparks fly off the fire
I found your old house, I didn't even try
They'd closed the shutters, they'd pulled the blinds
I had a dream that you were mine
I've had that dream a thousand times
But I don't answer questions, I just keep on guessing
My eyes are still open, the curtains are closing
But all that I have is this old dream I must have had
A thousand times, a thousand times
I've had that dream a thousand times
A thousand times, a thousand times
I've had that dream a thousand times
A thousand times, a thousand times
I've had that dream a thousand times
A thousand times, a thousand times
I've had that dream a thousand times

I've been looking everywhere! I think I'm just gonna have to learn by ear.
It must suck having a great song that's way too difficult to sing. Hamilton has a bunch of those.
Would be easier if he would just play it in a lower key
@custerranch wouldn’t be the same, i think it’s the raw vocals make the music so different, and the contrast between the first time where he is singing the verse with passion and the second time where he has a more calm approach to it is really nice too
13 reasons why
"The Walkmen"
Looks painful 😂
Bit disappointing how weak his voice sounds compared to the album version
Plackie no shit it's live
Plackie watch his live performance on the late night show he sounds just as raw as the album version.
Go watch his performance on Stephen Colbert
Your profile picture is disappointing
They took the video off! Do you know where else we can watch it?
:( bad
