VRC6 is a Konami sound chip addon, which apparently can only be used with famicoms and modded NES systems. Therefore this track exceeds the capabilities of a regular NES. Just got curious, this track is really banging.

I'm late but I'm pretty sure this is due to the VRC6 chip used here, which adds a saw wave and extra pulse channels. Pretty sure the triangle is either being augmented by a saw or pulse wave or it's just the saw being used.

Even though I loved Undertale, yes, that is annoying when you only like part of what a fandom produces. And unfortunately, Undertale produced a LOT of content, not necessarily of quality.
To be honest, yours sounded a bit more like it was on a Sega System, while this one feels more Nintendo-y. I loved em both, even if this one sounds more like the one from the original game.
