Agree with DeanIsKing1988 This is compelling stuff: educational (gives me perspective on what my game should be), funny, great camaraderie. Some great shots too. Keep 'em coming!
Hit the jackpot with this trip for sure MC playing some fine courses, & Spyglass or Cyprus Point indeed even a bit of Pebble thrown in !! fabulous golf tracks, so expect to see you in Monterey soon then :) Rory good to see has slowed the old tempo down a tad there now & was starting to look like a bit of a bandit off 9 until the fat root shot !!
Mark: I really love these videos. You all look very focus in this one as well. Good shots. Keep uploading this kind of course games. Also you´re funny. Greetings from Argentina.
Great video again mark keep it up !! Maybe you could invite some of your fans for a round of golf or something ?? Never the less another solid and very excellent video !!!
I use an app called SbS Golf its an amazing app. You can pay an extra $14 a year (around £10) and you get loads of extra features like green tier map ect. You can just point/touch a a hazard and it tells you the yardage. Only bad thing is takes about 10 seconds for the GPS to kick in on how far you have left. Not very good in the rain either unless you don't mind a wet phone lol
Rory should have used the rules to his advantage. He should have let the ball roll instead of forcing the ball to sit where it stopped. It appeared it would have rolled closer to the hole after repairing his pitch mark. At 3:30
He played the provisional in case his tee shot went out of bounds. So long as you declare it a provisional ball, there is no penalty for it as long as you play your first shot if it is found. If you do play the provisional ball then you have the penalty stroke. His first shot went right so he decided to err on the side of caution and play a provisional just in case, but he did find his first ball and that is the one he played.
Christopher Thornton I'm pretty sure thats not the rule. You play a provisional if you can't find the ball and it is not OB or in water hazard. He never said if he found the ball or not. If that is the case what you are saying everyone would be taking 2nd tee shots "just in case".
Paul Mühlböck ...I know that's what I said. "If the original ball is then found, the original ball is played. If the original ball really is lost or OB, the provisional is played with a one-stroke penalty." He never stated that he found the first ball he played or if the ball he played was his 2nd "provisional" shot
It's called golf banter...when you are as good as these guys it makes for a better watch without them getting the arse. They are playing for fun not a tournament.
I like Mark. Some of his banters are funny, didn't say the opposite... But sometimes, I feel like he's a little child around adults with his little comments... It's just my opinion lads
Getting a bit bored of the vids of you guys just playing golf on fancy courses Mark. I much prefer golf instruction and club testing than seeing you on another jolly! If I want to watch people playing golf, sky sports does a pretty good job at that. If you have to do loads of these for yourgolftravel then how about making them more of a playing lesson. Describing how you hit the shot your about to play, new techniques for us all to learn. We all want to improve our games with help from people like yourself.
Great play by Rory on this course! Couple birdies and a wicked up and down on the final hole.
Just started watching your videos. Funny as hell. I think your banter makes the videos. I can't wait until the next round...

That tee shot by Rory, ouch! GREAT second for his up and down, really good.
This is probably the most funny vlog you have done I couldn't stop laughing lol.
This course looks lush, enjoyable vid. Thanks
Great video again mark keep it up !! Maybe you could invite some of your fans for a round of golf or something ?? Never the less another solid and very excellent video !!!
Can't believe you gave Rory jip about using a 6 iron when the 7 you used has cranked up lofts?! Very sneaky mr crossfield!
Thanks you your golf channel !!!
I wish I had a Go Pro as a backstop when I putt... !
Been on Holiday in Portugal for past 2 weeks, played the Ocean course 6 times, great course. Much better than the Royal course IMO
Love the vids Mark, awesome. What handicap is Rory and what did you and Matt have on that day gross? Keep the vids coming
Do you reckon mark wears his cap on a night out?
Rory has a different grip for putting. Interesting!
"I have to grip here and enter the bush" - classic.....
take your grip then enter the bush! lol love it! I can feel there is a ball down there...lol
Looks like Rory has a little of #@CoachLockey magic!!!! Mark needs an indoor putting mat at the range!!!
Did you get Rory's autograph? joking but good video as usual!
Rory is a lad
lol @ mark's laugh at 12:20
Mark would it be possible to do a review on iPhone GPS apps? Are they any good, worth the money etc?

That Rory guy seems like a real barrel of laughs. I think i heard him speak once but couldn't tell because a leaf fell off a tree at the same time.

The good old days when Matt dressed himself, before Callaway sorted his fashion sense out!
Rory looks like Johan Edfors from the European Tour
Just noticed as well Mark played the provisional so would that mean he got a 5 on that 380 par 4?

klarkus No, you play a provisorial, IF YOU think you can´t find it anymore.
Paul Mühlböck ...I know that's what I said. "If the original ball is then found, the original ball is played. If the original ball really is lost or OB, the provisional is played with a one-stroke penalty."

yeah right
Never seen Rory move so fast.
MARRY ME COACH LOCKEY
DONT EVER LEAVE
Rory will you calm down please.
Rory is a #lad
lol matts face at 14:44
I can't believe no one has mentioned Marks "enter the bush" comment. Maybe its just me. Sorry.
Rory plays a lot better than a 9 handicap.
The Portuguese sound pretty noisy banging and rattling away in the background.
you didn't win Mark, Rory won.
Mark, you're becoming really annoying with your little comments on others' games and with your little laugh. It's a bit disrespectful.
Wow! Who stole the jam from your doughnut?
Who rattled your cage?

What people are forgetting is that golf on the whole generally is played by total tossers - me included!
Drama queen.
