they can easily make you spend all your elixir defending an xbow, or cheaply destroy the xbow either way, you NEED to save for the rg push else you lose. If you place xbow and leave it, they are up on elixir since they will cheaply destroy it. If you place xbow and defend it, they are basically resetting the match while also having a RG push the lane they want. You have to fight their push in that situation.

I think 3.0 is better than 2.9 because the knight really provides great defence
icebow is great if you keep facing beatdown & some variants of RG. But usually 3.0 xbow is the most consistent and is versatile
