No because electrumite is a heavymetalfoes card and beyond the pendulum isn't in an archetype. The only cards they can run out of archetype are spells and traps that support type or attribute of their deck

Sam's initial reaction to Dracoslayer being put into the Majespecter deck was understandable, but the important thing to note is that the Dracoslayer card has text that states it's always treated as a Majespecter card. For that reason, I'd give it a pass. My guess was that Sam missed that part of text, which I don't really blame him for.

I just read luster pendulum and no where on that card does it say anything about being a majespecter monster. Luster pendulum is a part of an archetype that supports other pendulum archetypes, but it is not a direct part of that archetype, making it illegal in a majespecter deck
Yo sam when pendulums are involved you get your roommate to help you build it where seereax doesn't have any roommate who is a pendulum God.
I remember that one time you had your roommate help you make your deck for a video for Master wheel against seereax and there was nothing he could do. Let him get some pendulum god help too

As others have said, I think spinning the wheel then testing the deck out and recording the actual match on the next day. Gives both players time to optimize their decks.

Great stuff as always. Small critique is let Seareax play man. If you are sitting there telling him what to do the whole match it might as well just be watching Sam play against himself using 2 random decks. If Seareax is unfamiliar with these decks and how they work how about give him some time to watch a quick video on how the deck is played. Would only take an extra 10 minutes in between recordings to get an idea of the flow and would ultimately make for waaaay more enjoyable content. Also it does seem like you guys build with different restrictions. Regularly we see Sam build with general support for his archetypes like sanctuary and the like but Seareax build only from support that generally list the archetypes name in the cards. I think this puts Seareax at a major disadvantage.
You guys are great. Keep up the series and I hope Seareax makes the comeback.
It's a good idea but seereax doesn't like outside help like 95% of the time when he's building a deck.
He has put some generic type support into previous decks, but I would agree he could benefit from doing it a bit more if beneficial.

Sam called out and posted one of the rules when Reax used photon sanctuary one time: you can’t play token summoners. Sam’s very first turn was to play a token summoner in this video.
@@alphastronghold715 Sam can played it because it was specifically a part of the trickstar archetype. If Seereax plays photon sanctuary but it's not within the galaxy/photon deck then he can't do that, but if he was playing that deck, then it's fine

The man has no link monsters and no kirin & the entire community agrees kirin WAS busted but without links its a DOG card. Pendulums dont really stand a chance with the wheel rules unless you roll a link staple.

@williamruiz4571 he was allowed to add wind and spellcaster support spells and traps, he just chose not too. His deck was poorly built and he played poorly. Plus not all decks are built equal, trickster is still trash, even if majespecter is worse than it

Deion had his numbers wrong, you're supposed to run mostly monsters in pend decks. He didn't have the monsters to tribute for his card effects, and if he tributed the monsters in the pend zone they would go to the grave for monster reborn. Seereax just has a lack of experience in yugioh
@@asheryunan monsters tributed in the pendulum zone go to the extra deck though. The only reason a pendulum card would go to the grave that's on the field is if it has its effect negated as a spell card, or it's summon negated as a monster card.
It's so weird that Kirin is still banned, it's not even that strong anymore.
Konami is just extremely scared of making any pendulum deck stronger, so that they have leverage for other crappy archetypes they want us to pay for....😓

there are so many cards banned that wouldnt even see usage nowadays. In most cases Konami is either scared because of the reason they had to ban them, and in other cases they simply dont care
Now you know that those ban list are a complete and utter joke. Konami doesn't care about balance, ban list are just another way to siphon money out of the playerbase, that's why weak card that got banned eons ago never made it out of the banlist despite being astronomically weaker than most cards that got included in today's meta deck

One misconception this video may brings up about pendulums, you only summon one face up pen card from the extra deck normally. But if you have a link monster in your extra monster zone, for example pendulum musician, you can summon as many monsters as possible to their arrows.
So with pendulum musician having two arrows thats two monsters, Apollousa for example with three arrows down allows you to summon three.
SeeReax should record and release the un-edited/un-cut extended version of this because I can't imagine when it is like before removing the meaningless bickering back and forth lmaooo.
Seereax didn't cheat. But Sam did. He was playing Sanctuary in the Sky. That doesn't say anything about Trickstar on it.
The rules say you can use spells/traps that support your monster type. If you get Marincess, you can use generic Cyberse spells for example. But monsters have to be part of the archetype specifically, unless required. Like if you get Red-Eyes then you can play Dark Magician for Dragoon but no other Dark Magician monsters.

As this series goes (and seereax gets decks he has never heard of), you guys should wait a day or 2 after the spin so seereax has a bit of time to learn the deck in solo mode

Nah like this idea it puts them in the same level and if it’s same tier decks it wouldn’t be much of a issue and the episodes would be trading not a complete wash with us watching decks being used wrong, don’t know half these decks but would love to see them use properly

Seereax doesn't have as much experience as Sam, so he doesn't add in the spell and trap support that Sam knows about. Duel academy was a big brain move by Sam in the musketeer match. Deion didn't know that card existed

To be fair to both Seer and Samu, Pendulum is such a smorgasbord of conditions that whether you've been into Yu-Gi-Oh since early or later, that everyone needs a guide to figure out what to do.

I love Majespecters. It is even good as N/R only. can make a very cohesive deck with only the N/R cards. however without any possible extra deck it will definitely suffer.

I mean it’s great that you guys played but it’s 2-1 Seareax won because sam scooped game 2 after he stated if you win I will give you the whole match. By sams own words he gave up the match by scoop.
I would argue that the Dracoslayer cards are perfectly legal since Majesty Pegasus is a bridge between the 2 archtypes. For future I think that should be an established rule since alot of Duel Terminal Era pendulums had that crossover support like Zefra with Ritual Beast, Shaddoll, tellarknight, etc. And I think it should be an establishes rule that if you spin a pend deck you should be allowed a couple link monsters to help with the extra deck summons. Beyond the Pendulum, Electrumite and 1 or 2 generic links should be the allotted Extra Deck

The last few videos i noticed Seereax really didn't have as much to work with, and i haven't seen him have much of an extra deck. I hope he gets a good archetype next time.

I think the problem is that the Magisepter does have Dracoslayer in it's text , but Dracoslayer doesn't have Magisepter in its deck but I don't have Sam's rules and I don't feel like searching them up on his site
I agree. It's a direct pendulum support. Also Sanctuary of the Sky is an archetype but it's an overall support to fairy.
seereax is so good with old school devks but he has less grasp of modern decks i think a training montage about modern yugioh with sam teaching him would be so cool

Sam just had way better deck for the last three videos. If you looked at this video carefully Sam was basically throwing 60% of the time by not Link summoning Holly Angel but Deion still loses cause pure Majespecter can't compete with pure Trickstar
Why the wheel is broken for this series is because alot of the decks need staples and other things from other decks, so if someone rolls a deck with low support its just a overkill from one side...
