Hi Ramsey , you mentioned CALANDRE!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my!!!. you never tried!!!! í love it tie vintage that one opened the door for my loved RIVE GAUCHE YSL they are similar😍😍 What a a pain for Paco!!!! LOS GRANDES NOS ESTAN DEJANDO MUY SOLOS ya nada es lo que era tanbién en perfumes!
Nice homage video. I have one Paco Rabanne - a 2nd formulation of Pour Homme, with the raised "r" in the glass. Reminds me of how hotel bars of soap smelled 20-30 years ago, but higher quality notes of course. Boy does it last and last and last on my skin.
I love paco rabanne ph as I mentioned in the video it was my old mans signature scent from the time I was born until now... just transcends time for me.. when I smell it in my head I can be a 5 year old going to the zoo or the 18 year old that just graduated HS or the man who had his first kid... its all there for me ... RIP Francisco Robaneta indeed .. you Legend! 🙏🙏🙏
Wow a tribute to a legend farewell Mr Rabanne rip . I have his Excess Pour Homme Original and the extreme with the copper Zippo cap . I enjoy the original smell of Himalayas
@@RamseytheRam I love it I don't know why people get pretentious about it it's like having original Pasha or the original Herrera totally 90s in a bottle
I'll admit that it never was my brand, but I wholeheartedly respect the entire Pour Homme line. Especially Sport de Paco Rabanne. I stole a small bottle of it from my brother in the 90s and pretended like he had lost it. When he went off to university I used it up and then never smelled it again. But the memories remain. In fact....now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure I wore it to my first ever job interview. 😄 Summer job working in the shipping department at my mum's work. Just another blue collar guy wearin' PR playing with tablesaws, nail guns, pallet jacks and industrial plastic wrap. 🤣 No AC, big machines, chemical fumes, the works. 💪
Ahhhhhh the good old days... its funny thinking of the fragrances from the past and the memories they bring forth... if you want send me an email with your address or PO Box & I will hook you up with a good size decant to remind of those days 🙂
I started my fragrance journey in 92/93 with (among others) the original green honey- tobacco-leathery Paco Rabanne pour homme and it is like a vivid photograph of my beginnings when I smell it. I happen to live in the region where he had been living for the last 20 years...Thanks for the video Ramsey
Thanks so much for sharing Art... i know exactly how you feel as everytime I smell it its a flashback to basically any point in my life as my old man wore it with pride my whole life...RIP Francisco Robaneta 🙏
Every time a legend of Rabanne's scale passes, it becomes sad. In my opinion, he was a creator out of time. Avant-garde and futurism, space and fantasy. The fragrances fully accord to his creative credo. You can love them or not, but they have always been absolutely original and were not like anyone else. *Unlike Creed, which are very suspiciously similar to the Rabanne fragrances that came out earlier) But "aristocratic" bottle design and high prices left no questions about they're original 😜 Paco Rabanne has passed away right after Rosendo Mateu, one of the main perfumers of the brand. I hope he will not be forgotten, and his passing will only lift up people's interest in his work.
@@RamseytheRam The "Time Accelerator" quote at 11:36 blew my mind. The man truly was exactly as advertised. Even with his Phantom fragrance bottles being interactive. I dare to guess how much Roja would've charged for that.
😂😂😂 You are spot on ... dont give Roja Any ideas! Although the thought of Roja holding and trying to talk fancy about a Robot bottle has me in tears over here 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I bought La Nuit blindly, the edp version. I'm glad the atomizer came damaged as I was able to return the perfume because I didn't like it at all. Too many aldehydes and rose for my taste
@Ramsey I just watched that, I'm happy that it went to someone that truly appreciates it not just because it's highly sought after. Everytime I spray the 2ml that I have I left I slap myself and say what was I thinking 🤣. Enjoy it Ram
😂😂😂 It is in a loving home thats for sure ... thanks so much for working with me Mike B... you are now an honorary senatorial rank at channel Ram for life 🐏🙏

Do you think I would like it?! I am thinking of getting a vintage bottle 😬😬😬
Paco Rabanne will live forever. Just like you my father signature scent was Pour Homme. Bougth him a vintage for his birthday that he loved.
Thats awesome man... we are linked by our fathers signature scent 😊
Ramsey, what a wonderful video and tribute to another great perfumer. Before we know it, there will be very few great perfumers left.
I dont think Francisco Robaneta was a perfumer... but he was one hell of a designer 🙏🙏🙏
doing that thing we do! Spraying on what we have & decanting 1 Million Prive & Tenere for the youngin for fall
Heck ya to Tenere ...I will review it soon 💪🐏

Great review, Ramsey. I haven’t tried any Paco Rabannes yet. If you had to choose between La Nuit and Papillon Salome, which would you choose?
Salome ....but I love la nuit too
@ thanks! You helped me make up my mind.
Thanks for your videos reallyappreciate your work, would you be doing any giveaways 😀?
Probably not as I dont care about how many subs I have .... but I really appreciate you watching & commenting😊

Actually he was born in 1934, February.
Can you give me a source... i took this straight from the articles when he passed away and they all said 1935🤔
