As mindblowing as this track is, you have not lived until you see it performed live. When that final chorus hits and the disco ball lights up.....dear god......😍
I have never heard it from straight on. Always off-stage right! ehhheheh My best friend runs their sound for shows! so I got hang out all of with them at 4 of their shows so far...from sound check to live! ..but alawsy not perfect! BTW they are all super nice and chill but Eddie Veder is a douche bag! Pearl Jam treated MMJ like crap when then were opening for them!
I’ve said it a million times… MMJ is the greatest US band today that nobody talks about. Jim James and co are master artists. Please go down the rabbit hole!
My youngest daughter turned me on to this band about 4 years ago! I have now seen them in concert & let me tell you, they are all such talented musicians!! They also put on one of the best light shows I have ever seen in my life (that’s 62 years)😮 They have so much great music going back to 1999!! So happy to finally see someone reacting to their music!! I have so many suggestions for you ❤ Your smile says it all ♥️ My heart is happy 🥰
A friend had given me this album right before I left on a trip to Lincoln, Nebraska for my cousin's wedding. The rest of my family was already there, so I had to fly into Omaha at almost 11pm, rent a car, and drive an hour or two to Lincoln by myself. I popped this album into the CD player and started driving right as an epic thunderstorm started. Whenever I hear this, I am always transported to back to that drive, cruising through the most open, flat space I have ever seen, while this album played and the most glorious lightning strikes danced in front of me. It's a beautiful memory. All to say, your instinct to take this into the 4Runner is a good one.
Do yourself a favor on your own time and listen to the live version of this song from the live album “Okonokos.” It sounds so much bigger and and more “real” than this recorded version from the studio album. MMJ has some pure magic, and a lot of it is featured the live Okonokos.
I've listened to Okonokos so many times that I can remember the subtle vocal differences from the live version of this song by heart, even though Jim is just making noises and not actually singing words at the end.
This was MY band for years before I became a metalhead. I'll always love them. So many good memories over the years they were my favorite. So many different cool songs, too.
Another one of those really good bands who got lost in the ether. ‘One Big Holiday’ (live at Bonnaroo) is a great example of the other end the spectrum to which this particular band can play - and play well. Good on you, sir, for listening with intent… and to whomever suggested.
Touch Me I’m Gonna Scream pt2, One Big Holiday, Circuital, and Victory Dance would be solid folllw ups. One of the best live shows you’ll see, MMJ is awesome!
I've loved these guys since their first album. I had the pleasure of listening to Jim do a pre concert acoustic set at a record shop in Denver in the early 2000's. I was standing a few feet from him. It was magical. Then attended the full concert that evening. Amazing stuff. Takes me on an emotional ride every time.
I'll never forget seeing MMJ perform Wordless Chorus on Letterman (it's on UA-cam). I had never heard of them before. I sat there with my jaw on the ground wondering what I had just seen and heard. You don't expect to find your favorite band on late night television, but it happened that night.
I’ve been loving your tool reactions, but I love a lot of music in my morning. Jacket is truly a special band. I would love for you to react to ‘touch me I’m going to scream Live, on the video series, la blogotheque. Circuital it’s great too and believe nobody knows
Jim James' solo albums "Regions of Light and Sound of God" and "Eternally Even" are masterpieces with a more r&b feel like this. Not a bad song on them. You don't even have to react to them, they're just an essential addition to that 4 runner playlist haha
I'm a longtime sub, I've seen a ton of your videos. I was just thinking about MMJ and how no one does these guys! Searched for a MMJ react, and sure enough, The Man Himself has one I've not seen!!! Yaaaaasssss!!!
I love MMJ but I have to say that they are MUCH better live. They just feed off the crowd energy and it's magical. Check out the live double-album "Okonokos!" and their collaboration with Erykah Badu on "Tyrone".
dude… you can make 100 reaction videos for them. Try Run Thru some time. Dondante (preface: it’s about their friend who passed away when they were young. so emotional and so crazy especially once i found that out on vh1 storytellers years ago.
Polo, just watch this reaction for the fourth time I think. Need more MMJ. Their catalog is so vast. Dondante Steam Engine Touch Me I’m Going To Scream Part 2 Good start. You’re missing out.
You should give Sepultura's "Roots Bloody Roots" a try. It's a Brazilian heavy metal band and perhaps one of the most influential bands in the whole genre.
Please react to Josh Groban - You raise me up. One one the most bone chilling beautiful song renditions of all time! I would love to see your reaction to his voice and the song!! ❤
To whomever requested/suggested this: you are my people ❤
Fuck yeah
MMJ is one of my all-time favorites. I salute you Sir/Ma’am that requested as well
I concur.
I concur ❤🎶🎸🎤🎼
amen!!
As mindblowing as this track is, you have not lived until you see it performed live. When that final chorus hits and the disco ball lights up.....dear god......😍
I had a chance a few years back and missed it...
Still kicking myself!
AMEN!!
I have never heard it from straight on. Always off-stage right!

Let's do this. Touch me I'm going to scream pt. 2 is essential MMJ
Like Smokie Robinson, I 2nd that emotion. 😊
MMJ is amazing! They’re exceptional live and a must see! The show American Dad introduced me to these guys way back in the day
That's how I found out about them. Still listening to them almost daily 9 years later
Same.
That album is amazing.
They have a song from that album "Lay Low" -- one of the greatest rock guitar solos I've heard.
I jumped down the rabbit hole with you on this one. Never heard the band before. They were Amazing.
Check them out live. Best in the business
The whole album is great.
Best live band I’ve ever seen.
@@herowe1right on! I'm super stoked for Hollywood Bowl!🎉
I’ve said it a million times… MMJ is the greatest US band today that nobody talks about.

💯 agree!! It is near impossible to spread the love tho for some reason

Theirs spreads slowly, but it is great getting to watch others find out for themselves.
Completely agree. Best live band of the past 20 years.

I concur!
Yes!!!!! MMJ is inccredible, Jim James is a national treasure!! They're fantastic live!!

the disco ball to this is the best!!
Omg Yesssssssssss thank you for some MMJ. Simply incredible
Very cool that you're listening to My Morning Jacket! Please try One Big Holiday and The Way That He Sings!
Try "Dondante" or "One Big Holiday" off the Live Okonokos MMJ masterpiece.
That live performance of Dondante is incredible
@@Childofbhaal that whole album is insane
MMJ is one of my ALL TIME favorite bands. ❤🙌🏼
Heading to RedRocks this month for both nights! Always love when the lights go up in Wordless Chorus and the mirror ball spins…
This is the best band you’ve never heard of. Seen them live many times and they are diverse as hell and fantastic.

Hence "Wordless" Chorus.
Huge fan of this album and this song, reminds me tuff times, but it was this kind of music that helped me going through. thank you
Love this band and love this song. Epic live band! Really glad you liked this song, and your R&B roots might enjoy their song Only Memories Remain.
This was MY band for years before I became a metalhead. I'll always love them. So many good memories over the years they were my favorite. So many different cool songs, too.

You should hear the Okononos live version. The energy is off the charts!
Yes yes and more yes. Please check out more. It's so nice to see people discover the magic that is MMJ.

One of my all time favorite bands! So pumped to see them at red rocks in two days!
go see them do this live. your soul will get a fresh squeeze of life
One of my very favorite bands, definitely do more! 🎉❤
Incredible song by my favorite band.
Come see them live. Pure Magic.
They have a LOT of good songs. There is even an AMERICAN DAD episode that's all about them.
Such a great song❤️
My Morning Jacket- One Big Holiday is an Absolute Must!!!!
"We are the innovators. They are the imitators."
THIS IS MY FAVORITE BAND!!!!
Their song Golden is really good also.
I’ve been loving your tool reactions, but I love a lot of music in my morning. Jacket is truly a special band. I would love for you to react to ‘touch me I’m going to scream Live, on the video series, la blogotheque. Circuital it’s great too and believe nobody knows
Mmj is 🔥 killer live band as well!
yes yes yes yesssss!!! MMJ is the best, and i hope you explore more (okay alllll) of their catalog.
Your garden will grow for sure 😊
You should react to My Morning Jacket doing Tyrone with Erykah Badu live at the Louisville Palace.
💯
If you can ever see them live, do it. JJ will blow your mind.
Jim James' solo albums "Regions of Light and Sound of God" and "Eternally Even" are masterpieces with a more r&b feel like this. Not a bad song on them. You don't even have to react to them, they're just an essential addition to that 4 runner playlist haha
Best live band in the world, Polo!
More My Morning Jacket!
feel you, only memories remain, librarian, love love love are some good tracks by my morning jacket to check out
They are an amazing band. Please do more from MMJ.
I'm a longtime sub, I've seen a ton of your videos.
I was just thinking about MMJ and how no one does these guys!
Searched for a MMJ react, and sure enough, The Man Himself has one I've not seen!!!
Yaaaaasssss!!!
Yeah love MMJ. Saw them open for Wilco (another band I love) years ago before they were known.
Great song. If you like this kind of thing... you might like Flaming Lips. They're a more "out there" and psychedelic version of this.
I could walk in my garden and play this
I’ve been wanting to recommend them to you for a while. I knew you would love it!
MMJ is outstanding-please do “Touch Me I’m Going To Scream, Pt. 2”. So good.
Very cool... Much respect.
Keep listening and commenting
Just sending love from one Aaron Brown to another
I love MMJ but I have to say that they are MUCH better live. They just feed off the crowd energy and it's magical. Check out the live double-album "Okonokos!" and their collaboration with Erykah Badu on "Tyrone".
Nvm I see someone recommend touch me I’m going to scream pt 2 and they are correct. That song is classic MMJ
I predict that this song will make into the 4 Runner. Just sayin, at 3:11...at 3:28 "a track I could drive to" 🥰
“Oh yea this is goin in the forerunner “😂 love u bro
My morning jacket- dondonte is a must listen
MMJ is one of the best bands I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen lots.
Love this reaction! More MMJ please!
oh man... you opened this side of the world ?! I'm going to be hitting you with some stuff in this vibe frequency that I think you'll love

One Big Holiday, The Way that He Sings, Touch Me I’m going to Scream part 2???
This album is great. They are probably great live.
DEFINITELY amazing live!! the light show really matches the songs perfectly. I hope you get to see them as they're on tour right now!
Soul food in the new age
Song titled Bermuda Highway
sounds cool
You should give Sepultura's "Roots Bloody Roots" a try. It's a Brazilian heavy metal band and perhaps one of the most influential bands in the whole genre.
My Morning Jacket does an amazing version of Rocket Man!
Best band
Check out Dondante, one of my favorite songs of all time...the live version is special
I think you would love the way he sings or touch me im going scream pt 2
Listen to One Big Holiday, Gideon, Where To Begin, Bermuda Highway, Mahgeetah or Golden
Please add another 20 MMJ songs to your reactions. Any song live-ANY.
If you ever get the chance could you do My Morning Jacket Touch Me (Part 2)
Good coffee house music.
Hell yeah! Perfect.
Great tune, I’ve heard the name but not the music. Great suggestion. Thanks Polo. 🔥
Also left out the fact that this track is called Wordless Chorus because it does indeed have a wordless chorus.
criminally underrated, def not a one hit wonder
MMJ is a damn mood
If you like this, try Flaming Lips "The Soft Bulletin" album.
Please! Please! Please! Listen to their version of rocket man. Probably my favorite version of that song by anyone. Including Elton John.
It's interesting and good!
Next, please do Touch Me I’m Going to Scream pt 1 or 2
I like it
Please react to Josh Groban - You raise me up. One one the most bone chilling beautiful song renditions of all time! I would love to see your reaction to his voice and the song!! ❤

Have you reviewed the rock funk act MOTHER'S FINEST from Atlanta?
I saw "My Morning Jacket" live at Suwannee in 2017.. they have such an awesome sound. Definitely hitcha in the feels.
On ‘Okonokos’ is 100X better!
