You miss one treasure in Myanmar. Myanmar is the best place for learn buddha teaching. You should visit Meditation center. This is not about religion for inner peace and meaning for life.
You might consider visiting Taunggyi and Inle Lake, as they appear to be safer options than Mandalay.
