Since you did this replacement already, how do you think - would it be somehow possible to detach used roof plate from the donor car and glue it in as a replacement part? I would like to do such a replacement for the former police car but I’m hesitant because of the price of the roof plate. On the other hand, there are plenty of roofs from the used cars.
Well done, Behar! What you cut in the video between 3:22-4:16 is originally a welded joint? Or the factory uses the same black "glue" to attach the roof sheet to the rails?
Thank you🙏🏻 yes its original welded all around, but the new part its with the glue (metal adhesive) on the sides. Front and back sides are welded like original part.

@@therewasaman_ yes you can do it, but it's quite a big job remove the roof unbroken.

What was wrong with the old roof ? It didn't looked damaged...
The roof has bent if you look the beginning of the clip. Deer damage.
