Minhas congratulações pelo vídeo, gostei muito da qualidade das obras de grandes artistas do passado e do presente. Thank you aqui de São Paulo - Brasil.
I love stomping through Art Basel, stopping to look at a painting then, crying out, "MY CHILD COULD PAINT THAT!" The Basel People love that sort of thing.
Love it! You can double your pleasure, double your fun by working the pause button. A cool grouping can be found between 13:10 and 13:45 (Soulages, Poliakoff, Francis and esp. Shiraga). Thank you Albert.
Thanks for the tour! such fun! I know how difficult it is? to film slowly because of people´s right ( which one has to absolutely respect ). I like the "bird that´s flying around curious" optik! ;) thanks for sharing.
two or three minutes in and i realize you ain't me, you are not artist! ( ? ), i was like whoah, why not look at that painting, and that painting etc etc ,-nice work by the way, you got some very substantial video documentation here, thanks for sharing !
Nice and kind that you sharing exhibition art videos but next time if you do it again I recommend you try to make slowly which focusing or zoom in.....
So much space for so little. Money cannot bring spirituality nor creativity, only mediocrity in a modicum of creation. Sad as it may be, this is the period into which we have to exist so far. It won't be for ever, that is the only bright side of the story. Thanks for the effort to present this display of works produced by citizens living in a bankrupt society at all level of social life.
Me: wow, look at all these cool people appreciating art. haha, look at all those artists, haha! wow, and here I am at home watching this whole experience while listing to blue man group on my hifi system. And in a way i'm part of it! haha, WOW! Me at 0:49 : Oh shit. im just some jackass with a cassio nerd edition watch and cargo pants? ? Me: looks down in real life, yup thats pretty much right :/
"This isn't art!" (or other "clever" disparaging remark) A) I took an art class in the 8th grade so I know all about art. - or - B) I am an art elitist who thinks only the19th century Parisian School hierarchy is valid...if it isn't oil painting, it's rubbish. - or - C) I'm an artist that thinks I'm better and am angry that I haven't been discovered. Since the Impressionists, art that breaks the monotonous mantra of oil paintings of naked women, has been pooh-poohed for no reason other than it is different and challenges the viewers. Today, people like Duchamp, Pollock, Cezanne, Dali, Picasso, Man Ray...and so many more...are championed as artistic visionaries. Now they are celebrated for their genius. Some of that has to do with the art market understanding the profitability of new art movements, but mainly it is because art means different things to different people. Art is subjective and is wholly dependent on what it evokes from the viewer, or is expressed by the artist without concern over an audience's reception. What you mean to say is that this art is not to my tastes.
naw mang there is an actual visual language that can be taught and most of what is being represented in this video especially the blank canvases is a 2 out of 10 at best. For exmaple 15:59
@@Mintzoid Before replying, it would have helped if you read up on Josef Albers (the artist of the particular piece you cited...his name was on the label) and Mark Rothko. Albers almost single-handedly influenced a whole generation of American artists, particularly the Abstract Expressionists. Rothko is probably the most widely known artist painting in the form used here, color field theory. He has an entire gallery at the Tate Modern dedicated to his pieces.
I appreciate the effort but the videographer when so quickly through the exhibition I never got a good look at much of anything. Filming the labels was useless… too quick to read any of it.
Go take a look at this art magazine, I have my work published in issue 181 I am eager to receive your feedback as soon as you can. www.americanartcollector.com/issues/181/luvensky-valmont Luvensky Valmont
Da ist jemand mit einer Kamera durch die Ausstellung gehetzt, den die Exponate offensichtlich nicht interessierten! Wofür dann dieses Video? UA-cam-Klicks? 👎👎
High school student or lower ages can produce better work, as they do not know what not to paint. Instead their emotions come out.. They are not afraid.
There is only a few pieces I would dare to call art. Mostly amateur works hired by galleries , because there is no good work here. Sorry.....if it looks like crap and walks like crap and smells like crap ...it is. Go back 35 years ago when this stuff started showing up in art in American, it is the same month I stopped buying it. Now it is just a whole a lot of uninteresting work, no discipline or skill ,,,made only to see...never to be confused with real art... what a waste of space, money and time. Why do not you find real artists and show their work..they are out there...but you will never see them here, this is bushiness, greed and money.

Most of the art here is that of what look like amateur art, painted by some to sell as art. It fails an falls short in the attempt. While their maybe some art here, most is only not painted with the key element. If you do not know what that is look at some real art and the difference will jump out at you. I find these shows sad attempts at best. Some artists are hired to paint fro galleries who show this work : As real art: to establish prices. Most of what I see is below the standards ofgood and real art. White sit is subjective in opinion, this stuff is not good art all.
It was very good to see and a very good exhibition.

Great video. Felt like being there in person, viewing art quietly.
Очень понравилось !!!!!!!!!!!!! Ещё хочется ваших долгих видео ! Это очень качественная информация для личных задумок и мыслей !!! Спасибо .

Thanks for posting. I've been there twice (not 2019), and I know how crazy it is trying to view all the art in one day. Can barely be done.
Thank you. I really enjoyed this. Would never be able to attend something like this in person.
thank you for filming so long. a lots of great artists you are the first of them. ..🤙
So much art, but so little basil!
a few of these works were artists from the past. SHESH I wonder how many days it too to load this video?
Nice wall decorations.

Mr. Camera Operator, please pause a second longer when you show the info cards by the artworks. Great show otherwise.🤗
I have to agree. And also bring the cards into focus. Since I can't get down to Florida, it's great to be able to see the show.
Looks interesting. After a bad 2020, I hope that you all have a safe creative healthy 2021
Very nice art work desplay.

What a cool exhibition! I would like to be there! Thanks who took this video!
thanks, man!
Most people spend on average.....an amazing fifteen seconds viewing the artwork!
mainly because most of that is bunch of crap.
Hello from Basel, thank you for showing me around, the entrance ticket to this exhibition is much too expensive for me !
Thanks for watching!

La expo como tal es interesante pero el camarografo debería hacer las tomas frente a la obra para poder ver mejor y apreciar.
Good decorative art fair. Where can I find real art?
Try making it yourself.
Beautiful 👍👍👍👍
Looks like a really cool place to visit 👏
Amazing and beautiful art work ❤️👍🏻
just turn off the sound and go to settings and drop the speed down to .25 and you got a decent video for an art show
Who’s the painter at 2:00:49 ?
Amazing
Top a matéria! Parabéns! @t
die kamerafahrt geht immer zu schnell....macht kein vergnügen dieser film.
This is what they produce in an " upper class " children's play school class ?
Awsome

Very dissapointed. That is not art( 20% only) . The atmosphere is pleasant, though

@Philip Gomez that sounds politically correct, and misleading.
@Philip Gomez I've understood you. What I mean is, they've just made up a misleading name for something already described years ago.
@Philip Gomez long ago people named that kind of art- a kitsch, and today it's pop-art, hamparte, etc... let's just call it a subgenre of kitsch.
