    In this vido we demonstrate how to disassemble and replace parts in order to fix loose front wheel issues on a Thule Urban Glide. We deal both with the wheel as loose within the fork (horizontal axle) and with looseness in the fork itself (vertical axle, the connection of the fork with the swivel mechanism).

    Hey! I added a piece of the plastic which I cut out of a plastic bottle inside of the plastic ring and that stabilized the wobble. Some grease is requieres though in order to keep the axle spinning. Thanks for the video!!

    Great video! That part really shouldn't be plastic. Id also suggest informing your viewers that they can avoid this issue by locking their front wheel before running - not as easy to maneuver thought!

    Hi. I have Urban Glide 2 and started using it last week. Out if the box stroller is pulling to the left (front wheel unlocked, not in running mode). I have checked tyre pressure and break tension. Also i have lossen break lines all the way, to be 100% that breaks are not the problem.
    Stroller is still pulling to the left when you let go of it on flat ground.
    Do you have any experiance whit this kind of problems? At the shop they will need to take the stroller in to go over warranty, but I need stroller every day and not be week or two without.
    Thank you for your help.
    Kind regards

    Hi, I have an opposite problem. The front wheel does not swivel freely in unlocked position. It takes considerable energy to turn the stroller. Actually, when stroller is empty, the front wheel would almost not turn at all. I'm wondering if the ring would loosen in the course of time and the front wheel will actually become more "turnable", or if any action should be taken to fix this. Is this caused by the plastic ring that you mention in 4th miniute? What is your opinion?

      Did you find a fix for this in the end? Ours has started doing the same.

    • @ivokovac6249
      @ivokovac6249 7 днів тому

      @@graeme-e9 It took few kilometers of walks to make the wheel more "turnable". So no specific fix. But your issue seems to be different, as I was describing a new stroller.

    Nice video, except you didn’t fix the loose piece of plastic. Is that because Thule’s website doesn’t list this part? I couldn’t find it there - does anyone know where to find it? My understanding is that 3D printing it would require a data file.

      Most likely damaged ball bearings, bent axle, or worn down shaft in the rear wheel housing :)
