The thing is, when you boil it all down, when you strip away all the fat, Absurd isn't really a great or good band. If the band (or rather one member) hadn't committed that one crime in the past, combined with some edgy politics, no one would be talking about them, I'm afraid.
@@Proberaumwurst you don't need to be musically talented to make good black metal. Absurd is a legendary band that contributed lots to German music overall you are just some random nobody in a sea of mediocre people

I've read an interview with Hendrick Möbius and he said himself that he could have done better in his stage performances. Since this was one of the few times he has been in front a huge crowd of fans, and Asgardsrei of all festivals the biggest in nsbm. But he said that he was more proud of his later live shows.

@@Proberaumwurst there are a few good songs on facta loquuntur but if the more raw style isn't your thing then I'd recommend Totenlieder.

Absurd are good, as is this song, but Hendrik has an awkward stage presence and the band lacks energy.
