- A quick walk-around video to capture our recently completed 1998 Triumph Thunderbird Sport Cafe Racer Build fired-up ... I guess we need to work on the video sound a bit as she sounds much better in person. A very deep rumble and yes, she is pretty loud. We rescued her from spending several more years dormant in a garage - she has plenty of life left with under 8,000 original miles! We will be loading some more before/after/during pics of her on our website at www.barebonerides.com or check out our facebook page at barebonerides. She will be going on ebay sometime in March 2015 ... keep an eye out for her! Thanks for looking as we sincerely appreciate your time and any comments you may want to share! The BBR Brothers
One of the most beautiful bikes I've ever seen!!! Good job, guys! You should be proud on this babe :)
Hey Drazen, we appreciate you taking the time to check out this build and leaving your comments! Thank you Brother! She will be on ebay within the next couple of days - hoping she will find a good home!
Absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you, Benas! We appreciate your comment and taking the time to check out this build! You can check out several more photos and info. on the bike on our website at www.barebonerides.com/1998-triumph-thunderbird-sport-turned-cafe-racer.html
Hey Alex, you asked about the seat on this build ... we fabricate the items on each of our projects/builds for that bike specifically. We do not mass produce these items ... if you really want one of our seats, you'll need to commission a build with us or buy one of our project bikes! Thank you for your interest!
Damn you make nice bikes!
Thank you, Matt - much appreciated Brother!

Thank you for checking out this build and for leaving us a positive comment. We agree with you, she turned out to be a really awesome looking machine. The classic color scheme looks so much better in person ... thank you again and stay safe/well!
You're very welcome. Credit where credit is due. I bet it does look even more stunning in the flesh. Fine work. All the best to you also. 👍🙂
@@SB-Kiwi 👍👍👍👍👍 ... and stay safe!
Beautiful work. Is that the one that was originally yellow ?
Thank you, Drew - yes, this was the yellow/black one. Some before (and many during/after) shots can be found on our website for this bike! And thanks for checking out this video!
Where do i find the handlebar, cafe seat and cowl and black exhausts you have?!
Hey there, sorry for the late reply Kevin ... so, the header pipes were the factory Triumph pipes, you can source the mufflers from Niche Cycle Supply here in Florida (reverse cone with removable baffles - nichecycle.com), you can also find the black clubman bars at Niche. We custom fabricated the steel tail piece in house - sorry, that is a one-off piece that you will not find out there. You can always speak with a local metal fabricator to see if they would be willing to make something similar for your bike ... otherwise, check eBay for existing after-market tail pieces that may be similar. Good luck with your build Sir!
Thanks!
@@kevinbelter7934 Happy to help! 👌👍🇺🇸
What silencers do you have installed, the sounds really good!
Thanks for the note! If you send us a msg through our website, we can send you the link to our supplier for these exhaust cans!
Where did you get the gaiters? I can't find the right fit for mine.
zappatx We purchased these off ebay ... the seller does not seem to have any of the 39mm listed in his store. These are nice quality Kajima's, made in Japan. If you send us a note via our website, I'll send you a link to the ebay seller - may be worth contacting him to see if he has any more of the 39mm's.
What's the top speed on this badboy especially if you made it cafe?
+Quinn ? Honestly, we never pushed the bike that far after we completed her ... we would guess she could do in the neighborhood of 140-150mph ... but, just an estimate!
nice bike , do you sell this kind of seats ????
badfuckinass!!! so so so cool
Thank you for the feedback and for checking out this build - much appreciated!
