Honestly I find Nero to have the most enjoyable transformation out of UT's large scale figures. It's a lot simpler than it looks - basically just flipping a bunch of panels inside out - it's just getting everything aligned that's difficult for most people.
not had the pleasure of owning nero myself, ive got knock offs of peru kill and challenger but the challenger knock offs ball and rachet joints are getting looser every time i go to pose or transform it
As neat as SOME of the transformations were in the movies, theres no way that tarp/cape thing would not have gotten caught in all that mess of parts moving around.
if you watch the fabric in the conversion you can see it raises up and is then swallowed by the neck/chest area and is then pushed back out as megs pulls it over his head.
I made the mistake of getting this as my first transformer. As a DLX scale collector now I’m not complaining, but oh boy getting this before any mainline stuff to figure out the art of transforming figures, this was an experience
He was definitely green in that janky dotm game, and I always thought he was green in the movie, the figure here though was just too green for me . Better than the desert deco imo though
About one of the most accurate DOTM Megatrons out there. Bot mode/truck mode get about everything right despite the articulation/difficult transformation. Great to pose but looks a nightmare to mess around with. The SS isn't exactly great being hollow and all, but still looks to do a decent enough job of getting the design right, and it looks fun to mess with not being too complicated. May grab one now that its shown up on Amazon again, and right not now I only have the original voyage, which still fun has scaling issues with everything else. Also have that legends toy which though simple is still a lot of fun. Sidenote. Megatron also had the stand alone truck for the KreO release.
I bought the pure green version. Then I custom painted him into a perfect used and rusty look. In order to do that, I had to transform him back and forth at least 10 times. The transformation is hard, but EMGO's JTR is the perfect guide. If anyone want to see the results, just look up for the thread of my custom at Seibertron.
looks like this has the exact same issues as my copy so it's just a general thing with how loose the ratchets are and the left feet getting stuck, still one of my favorites though
Fyi, this figure is technically mpm scale, as he is proper height with the black apple Optimus Prime who is in scale with mpm bumblebee and barricade. BA Prime is an awesome figure and I think you would really like it, it is almost perfect and it appears another batch is comming soon.
This is the first unique toys movie figure that I won't be getting. It's been out for a while now and it still has the widespread shoulder problem and it still has the loose ratchets everywhere. Kind of strange because this is also the most expensive movie figure that they released. Maybe some other company can do this character Justice or at least improve upon this bass with a KO. Thank you for taking the bullets
I actually really like Perukill, Minor tangent here but I still hate how Optimus murdered Megatron after the guy just saved him and helped him beat Sentinel
Are you willing to do another collection tour towards the end of the year? I’d love to see how you displayed some of the new stuff like thunderclash and nova prime Seems overdue and I love seeing how different collectors arrange things
I really would like you to review the Voyager Dark of the Moon Megatron. Not the most screen accurate figure, but it has many quirks that might please you.
This figure looks spectacular. No doubt in that but at the price I can't be bothered to get it as I'm not a huge fan of this Megs design. I like it, but not £200 worth.
Okay I’ve got to ask; every time you mention a discount code you say “yes I know” or something like that, and I still cannot figure out what you’re talking about
@@ThatToyGuy oh wow I didn’t think you’d actually respond, thanks. I thought maybe that could be it at first, but I discounted that idea because especially with more expensive figures, 3% can be a couple dollars off, and that’s not an insignificant amount of money, at least for me. Heck I just recently decided to order a figure because it dropped from $47 to $44.
Hey! TFSafari is really doing 20% off upgrade kits. I just bought EIGHT of them, and I might grab a couple more today. Shipping is pretty weird (it'll be here in... 7-59 days?) but the pricing and selection for upgrade kits was pretty awesome even before the discount, and tough to pass up at 20% off.
Sweet mother of Obelisk, Osiris, and Ra...I thought that the transformation for SS34 DotM Megatron was an absosmurfinlute pain in the nuts...this thing makes that look like an ol' skool DotM/TFP Cyberverse Legion class figure by comparison!!😮😮😮😮😮 Still...it'll match up great with MPM10R RotF/DotM Starscream, NewAge "Mista" (DotM Soundwave), etc. Frankly, I think that it may not be quite tall enough; 2007-DotM Megs is supposed to be 35' against Optimus at 28'.
@@wayneigoe6722I heard about that thing back when it first came out as TLK Nitro Zeus. Then again as SS09 Thundercracker, which I'll never understand considering Hasbro was hellbent previously on the Seekers being palette swaps (2007 Thundercracker, RotF Ramjet & Skywarp, then DotM MechTech Thundercracker and Skywarp). Oh!! Another one: HftD Battle Blade Optimus Prime. Great figure, but an absosmurfinlute pain in the balls to transform. Word has it they basically downsized the RotF Leader class Optimus...videos I've seen would beg to differ, it ain't quite that level of nightmare fuel (no MechAlive crap, no spring loaded crap, but if the Battle Hook version is ANY indication, those soft plastic swords of Battle Blade are stupidly easy to get warped big time...), but it's a definite nuisance.
@@DragoonMS Yea, another one to avoid is the Universal Studios Deluxe-class Optimus Prime. Aside from the nightmare of the backpack kibble it has and never wanting to stay standing up, its just an overall lousy figure. Worst deluxe I've ever come across.
@@DragoonMS Maybe? It was released as part of the 3D ride. I bought it at a local toy store for 30 bucks a few years ago and have regretted it ever since. (Thankfully, I went and got the Wei Jang M-01 Commander figure to take its place)
Tbh. I love this megatron design. Love the cloak he has and him turning into a truck is a nice counterpart to Optimus

It would have been incredible if they included the throne from the Lincoln memorial. Figure is still really cool regardless.
I totally agree, but that would prolly throw the figure price over 300
4:31 what figures are those? Tried looking up the one on the bottom but couldn't find anything
Perfect effect cw upgrade kit and MMC tfcon exclusive sg prime
The studio-series version Is more simple to Transform than this and the veicle mode Is not bad and less expensive
Thats the point

"who would you be without- this sponsor!" 💀
That toy looks like a second mortgage
Now that I have this figure finally… that last bit to line up the rear bumper was annoying! But maybe I didn’t have something inside lined up right
They gave you a Tom Wall’s napkin for a cape
AA DOTM Megatron is 10 time worse on the fiddle factor so good thing you didn't get that one
Stop saying you're ugly. You're a cute guy!
Do these guys ship to India? I don't see it listed in the drop down menu on the checkout.
Bro really dissed Peru Kill 1 minute into the video 💀
This is awesome
Keep up the great work
Thanks for your oppinion

Christmas gift for the fans

have you ever seen the Transformers shattered glass goldbug?
I really would like you to review the Voyager Dark of the Moon Megatron. Not the most screen accurate figure, but it has many quirks that might please you.
Best Intro yet
Part of the reason is that the studio series is brown as well
A studio series leader class voyager would be cool of this for this Megatron
They have one
Who would you be with out me prime 😈
I have it, love it but never transforming him.
and sadly some of us can only afford the studio series
The cloak is doesn’t look like it’s flowing in the wind the ss dotm megatrons cloak it’s way better
Good ol emgo for the win! 😂
