I agree. The 999 is fiercely exotic and daring. Not to mention it slaughtered the competition in racing. The 1098 lacks an identity of its own, because it was made to be a modern copy of the 916, to appease all the Tamburini boot lickers out there.
Nice collection but why not sell the standard 1098 and buy a 916/996/998 generation to balance it out. They're all going up in value especially the monopostos. Just a suggestion.
I am planning to get one of those 1098/1198 But hearing how they sound with the dry clutch makes wonders how would i know if it is their natural sound or second from breaking down 😂
The 999 is one of the best handling bikes, eher made. Still today a Great bike
