If I'm right I thought Jacob paid with everything in gold, so that would mean it would already have been processed and it tells me that he ran across a cash of gold
According to Clay Worst story which came from brownie Holmes from his father Dick who was one of two men at jacobs bedside. Stated Jacob didn’t find the mine but rather murdered two Mexican men working the mine. I would think this is the most accurate account since it came from the source.
i hate to disagree RON . but that is not the LDM you assume it was .. i have seen the real LDM and its not what everyone thinks it is ...and it dose not fit the normal gold structure of the area ..and yes it dose have a close relationship to a large silver deposit ...that was worked by Don' Peralta as the legend defines .i would love to get the chance to set down and talk with you but i live in NY and it takes a lot more money and time to get back to AZ ..and yes under normal conditions you would be correct .as i see the structure of the real mine . there are two main levels of structure .one a much older level layered over a second level . the LDM vane and yes it is a vane . is a much more condensed deposit where gold is not commonly found ,the vane was folded and then pushed up to the surface and dose not match other deposits in the area ..logically it should not even be there ...but it is a anomaly maybe the only one of its kind in the world or very rare and seldom happens in nature ..i have checked dozens of gold deposits in the area and none are like the LDM vane . its different ,one of kind and is far richer then its legend ...i have been a rock hound from the early 70 ;s ,you can not use what most believe to be the basics of gold prospecting to find the LDM . it is not the norm ! i would also say there is so much conflict between Dutch hunters ,geologist ,writers and half wits ,its hard to define any real clues beyond what is known ..i had a sighting of the Hoya in 1979 or i would have never gotten even close to the real mine ..

@TheBlindbowman oh he could have. I'm saying that due to the fact there was a Caldera there, hydrothermal and supergene enrichment as well as epithermal are the deposition of the area. It helps to know geology if you are going looking for mines. I found some really good ones at that.

What is the reason for the forest service not allowing filming in the Superstition Mountains?

What elements do you believe are required to form gold? Asking for a friend.
Steven
Sounds like to me your in a better position to answer that question than anybody, why don’t you just tell us.

the proof would be ore that matches the only known sample in existance
Filming is not illegal. You just have to get your permit.
Forestry makes a big deal over film because older film could catch fire in the camera and start wildfires

Show us the ore
