I bought this K-Tool and WOW this thing works great. My first try on 3/16 line didn't work so good as the line slipped back so tighten the clamp pretty good. The 2nd try was perfect, a whole lot better then the bar style I had fought with for years, The instructions suck and this video made is so simple, thanks
I just bought the same tool on Amazon I'll be using it this week Happy to see how perfect the flares look and how easy it's going to be to use, if Amazon will get the thing here!
Thanks for the video. I just picked one up and I said the same thing I hate reading instructions!!! 😅 but I would suggest from my other experience of using an oil or anti seize when using it. Otherwise you will get metal on metal wear and the dies won't last you as long as they should. Just a thought brother! Have a happy new year!
i saw some reviews that said the dies were extremely soft and/or roughly machined/off-center, and that the aluminum part that holds the dies in place would crack. has this been your experience with it, or did they just get some that slipped through QC? i need to replace essentially all the lines on one project car and most of them on the other, so i just want to be sure i get a tool that won't give me a headache.
I have one and it makes the inverted flare crooked every time. Was disappointed and had it shipped back. Waiting for new one to come in, hopefully it’s better.
Did you ever get this resolved? I just bought one and the flares are crooked as well. The part that holds the turret seems to have a lot of up and down play. I don't think the punch is square to the die.
I can't justify the price of an Eastwood unit, or similar, but this one and another called Vevor both seem similar. I'm sure they are knock offs......but for $98 versus $200 - $300, for the home hobby guy, it might be worth a gamble. ?? How much was this one??

Ive got the same one. Had it about 3 4 months. I love it. Makes life so easy. And making an lines for brakes is sweet with the 37 deg set also.
Identical to the Eastwood tool. Easiest flaring I have ever done. The 37° kit is as easy to do also.

I have the Eastwood one and it’s a great tool. It’s great for making new lines. Only down fall is you can’t make repairs with the line on the car.

I use it often. Seems to work flawless so far
Damn that thing is nice .I have a 500 hydraulic one and that makes better looking flares .I like it .nice job .I like the tool time feature. Lol

@@Rob-tn8to I got the new one and it looks better but it's still noticeable crooked, just barely. I think it should seal tho.

Found this one on Amazon for $175.
How do you make a bubble flare for sizes other than 4.75mm? I only see a punch for OP 1, 4 75mm DIN.
