What Joe said. I don't play an Em because when it gets to the double accents on verse 2 onwards, it fits much better to play 2 on the G, 2 on the Bm then the 2 different D's. On the second bit of the chorus I find it sounds better to slide up from the Bb to a D5 rather than a standard D. (I know Noddy plays the normal D)👍🏼 Although it's hard to see what Dave and Noddy are playing exactly as they are miming mostly so maybe not always being accurate.
8:42 *for his play through, good job mate*

I've seen the Em played as a G/E instead, which works quite well and feels less jarring than changing to an Em.
You’re a good teacher
Iain Apollo 12 thankyou!
Great video Rob! Learn't another new song 👍🎸
K4NE YT excellent stuff! 🤟
good video, very festive :)
Another awesome video, Rob! Wish I could play the guitar I won from Lovis Rocks, but I can’t use my left hand very well- my arthritic fingers lock
Donna oh no! Thanks for watching Donna - Always appreciate your support!
I'm hearing an A minor in the second part of the pre- chorus.
Not sure the Em is there after the G in the verse, think it just stays on G.
Joe Robson quite possibly! That would certainly make it a bit easier, The G, Em, Bm quick change is a bit of a pain!
i would be nice to have the words on it as well, hard to visualize otherwise
This song doesn’t play in America
Interesting to know! It’s huge over here
@@RobGalley It's because of the Wolverhampton accent, ay it ;)
