Aidan's acting is amazing I can't believe he did comedy for 4 years and jumped right into a vastly different character playing as a old person in a child's body. Even in the interviews he's so mature for his age. His outstanding job is why five has consistently been my favorite throughout all three seasons.

Man Emmy, David, and Justin act like real siblings the way they were always busting each other's chops when they did something funny or strange, I think they were the main three that affect the set in a positive way that made it feel like a family environment.

Aidan is a huge fan of the comics, so he appeared the least shocked of the bunch over that ending because, as he's mentioned, he goes into the source material frequently. I believe he mentioned somewhere on his YT channel that he was gunning for the Five role because it's one of his favorite characters. Even if the show is taking its own path, it's still sourcing the arcs to some degree.

You can to sone degree but you usually stay true to the character and their way of speaking and quirks. Though I don’t doubt that Genesis and Sloane have similarities.
The fact that Genesis is in this interview gives me hope Sloane is back for season 4 and hopefully a mainstay 🤞

Wait.... he started the show at 14 and he had "just come off of doing 4 yrs of comedy!? That means he has been "performing" since 10! No wonder he can play a person so old. The discipline, the character study and even the free form that has to be acquired to be SUCCESSFUL in comedy is mind boggling. It's harder than just "acting". Everything in comedy is made to elicit ONE response.... actors can be perceived on many levels but comedy is made JUST to hit the funny bone..... No wonder my FAVORITE character (and every single one of them tie for second place) is 5! Oh, I am 60 yrs old and LOVE THIS SHO!

It was the nickelodeon show 'Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn' where he played Nicky (one of the quadruplets). So it wasn't just a comedy, it was a kids show. To go from that to 'Umbrella Academy' is super impressive imo. I legit couldn't believe he was the same person, he's grown up so much. I had to go watch some clips to believe it.
I love the Umbrella Academy mainly due to the fact that nobody is THE big bad, they all have facets of good and bad which makes them seem more real, despite the fantastical story. Obviously, the casting is just amazing which also helps!
Reggie Hargreeves is the Big Bad. He's always been the worst person in their lives. It's a testament to his actor that we keep forgetting he's an absolute piece of shit and keep trusting him.
She killed a person and almost fucking raped a person. And you say she isn't big bad. Wtf she deserves to gtfo and I understand that she has lost her daughter and husband but ffs really? Rape and cold blooded murder and the show is like nah she's fine

Reggie was going to betray Alison too. He needed 7 bodies to stand on each point, if Klaus hadn't revived himself, would Alison then have bern the 7th sacrifice. Also, because Alison wasn't on a star, does that mean she still has powers?
It definitely seems like she has her powers as she’s in the same body she had prior to the reset, hence the injuries
But Luther doesn’t have his powers either even though he died

Like maybe everything prior to the dinner scene with Reggieboi in s2 is like a “prime timeline” sort of deal and everything that happened after is uhhh… spilt coffee?? And the timeline being reset at the end of season 3 is a sort of retcon/cleanup?

Ben was in both timelines, that's why he survived. Harlen/harlon hadn't met Ben in the 60's, so he couldn't detect him in the womb and thats how Ben's mother survives.
At the dinner party bin the 60's, Reginald asks them why there are only 6 of them. Getting 7 kids was always the plan, even 20 years before their existence
I recall Luther calling out Sloane and Reginald saying “He’d take good care of her,” after killing Luther. Also recall the wedding speech where he admired Sloanes intelligence. I believe he may have adopted her in the new reality as his daughter because of this.

Say what you want about Allison, Emmy is such a sweetheart! I love her interactions with Justin so much. 😭😭 And David is just soo adorable. ❤️❤️

Allison heavily played a villain esque role this season, her being injured at the end to me foreshadowed her possibly having her powers still which I feel sets her up to be the savior for the next season , a redemption season for Allison

I have a feeling that at first she won’t want too as she has everything she wants so she wouldn’t want to do anything that disrupted the balance or take ray and Clair away from her , but perhaps later she’ll find out all is not right in the world or that Alison may be bitter that Hargreaves lied to her/didn’t tell her it might cost them their lives standing on the bells if the machine carried on , and that if klaus wasn’t resurrected that it would’ve been her which could cause conflict , it’d be interesting to see if she could “I heard a rumour that you had powers” or perhaps we’ll see Alison give the others powers thru the same way viktor gave them to Harlan , jus some theory’s tho
@@elliezzz7812 I agree that the whole leaving the perfect life thing could be her conflict going forward, I really feel like her story parallels that of the scarlet witch (not sure if you’re a fan of marvel) but I think that she will be able to tell somehow that they’re not her “authentic” family she remembers and more like this overly perfect family that she has been dreaming about and she will have to make the choice to walk away from them
Allison was the worst this season.
However emmy's acting was amazing!

Her meltdown was understandable though. Viktor should have come clean to all of them about Harlan from the start. I really liked Allison and Viktor thrashing and airing it out (it was overdue).
And Callum Keith Rennie was great as Harlan.

since a lot of people were wondering I might remember reading that Elliot understandably has been very selective about who he wants to do interviews with because he doesn’t want to encounter transphobic people/ questions + doesn’t want that to influence the show somehow and for Robert I’m not sure why that is the case but in some interviews I’ve seen he seemed a little stressed so I think it’s probably because he has other projects (his book for example) right now as well (that’s just what I’m thinking tho).

I hope they will finally fully explain Reginald's backstory next season or do a prequel about him.
This was the most fun season of all in my opinion just because they for the first time they don’t focus on stopping the apocalypse and just enjoy instead which with the bachelor party and wedding felt so special 🥰
I also liked it for that reason I don't know why a lot of people do not like this season.
It was fun they were not trying to stop the apocalypse and just enjoyed their time.
Especially five he really needed it.

can I just say allison’s arc this season was heartbreaking to watch, especially that scene with diego when she opens up about the day to day fear of not knowing if she would see her loved ones again. and all her panic attacks and hallucinations? truly gut wrenching
Brilliant extended interview! Genesis seems so sweet, really hope she is going to be back in season 4! Love that everyone got asked really different, really interesting questions - things about their characters, the prep work they did for the show, how they felt about certain things, and the fun behind-the-scenes stuff. It is a shame they were missing Elliot, Ritu, and Robert, but on the other hand I think 6 was probably the perfect number for an interview like this, since it meant everyone had multiple chances to talk. This cast all seem incredibly kind, funny, and intelligent, and it's clear they all really love their characters, the show, and each other. It makes it a real delight to watch them in interviews and on screen!

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Abigail was the reason everyone got their powers and everything crazy that's gone on... In the new universe she never died and her power was never released(that's why none of them had powers at the end)... We might see 5 create the commission in season 5
she definitely has more to do with it, especially with her being preserved on the moon and protected by luther.

OK yall i have a theory, what if sir reggie killed klaus before he could enter the tunnel because he wanted to use allison as one of the bell? and the deal for ray and claire weren't meant for allison at all?? reggie just wanted to use allison to make his plan works.
Well it’s the only way it would’ve worked, so it would seem like the main plan for Reggie was to double cross Alison. Though at the same time maybe he was gonna keep his end of the deal because even though she would’ve died along with everybody else Luther was resurrected so might’ve just been a short sacrifice type scenario for Reggie.
That's kind of Reggie's character. He’ll keep a deal but he'll sacrifice pretty much anything for his means
its for all of them to become just normal powerless people but since it didnt went to his plan, Allison become variable since she still got her abilities..

I love Allison. More people need to hear/listen to understand the explanation on her experience and Trauma to why her personality changed so much. People love to ignore her experience that speaks volumes.
