What other signature guitars are you hyped for in 2024? 🤔
Man i can’t wait the for epiphone dg 335
I'm pretty sure you already know that 😅
Yours and Raymond Xander Charles baritone signature. Even though I don’t have the money to buy any new gear.
boy genius gretsch looks p fire
I'd like to see an updated Will Adler, Richard Z, Michael Paget (Maybe get Matt Tuck on board. Brent Hinds signature Viper/Relic would be cool. James Hetfield Truckster/Iron Cross V2? There's a bunch lol.
Clown exploded all over it⁉️⁉️⁉️
🥳
He had no remaining members left to fire, so he had to fire himself… with a grenade
@@Beast_Hubno he busted a nut on it
Missed opportunity! He should've said it looked like a clown jizzed all over it! LMAO!
That statement was sus...
So a clown “exploded” on it huh?
😉💙❤️💛💚🤍
Poor Shawn.
I have never seen Mick without his shades
He kinda looks like Jim
Same
Mick without shades looks like Jim a little bit
Fr I’ve been a slipknot fan since I was a kid and I’m nearly 30 and I think this is one of the few times I’ve seen mick fully unmasked no shades or nothing
I love Jim roots stuff too, with the daemonium pickups. Fender collab is an interesting pick though. His Charvel signature is sick
Is it really still interesting? He got his first signature guitar with Fender 16 years ago and has been with them ever since...
Yeah agreed!
The ESP at the end! 🔥🔥🔥
What is it?
@@braxtonluckey3307 Looks like the FRX in Liquid Metal Silver, though it could also be a Custom Shop version given the black hardware.
@@braxtonluckey3307 It's an ESP, FRX.
Lame. Should have just stayed with Jackson or went back with Ibanez. His sig model now looks just like and LTD you can purchase
@@markolivares6943 - Well, Mick doesn't have a signature with ESP or LTD yet? Isn't it kind of hard to criticize something that doesn't exist yet? He only has some standard ESP models and custom one-offs so far...
wdym by exploded 🤨
Mick is one of my favorite guitarist and I’m not even that big of a slipknot fan. He’s just awesome
First Barney "exploded" on your ESP and now a clown "exploded" on his? I'm not sure I'm comfortable with this new trend. What's next? The four Teletubbies together at once?
The pattern is concerning 🙃
2 explosions, 1 guitar 👀
Not just any clown
What I really want is another Michael Paget signature, his new parasite SV is so sick
I hope we get the announcement for micks signature esp soon. Im super hyped for it, i just recently got his signature Jackson and I'm hoping his new sig esp is gonna be an arrow
I wish mick's signature esp is an arrow
Your signature is there any date or month?
Out of all the signature guitars that came out recently, Adam Jones’s are something else!❤
All of them, even the Flying-V ones are incredible! 😍😍
The only guitar I regret selling was my Mark Morton series Dominion. 59 les paul style neck on a jazz master style body. and those pickups were awesome. I need to find another one before the prices go up.
I remember slipknot's first headinlining shows after opening for Coal chamber and biohazard, Jim was playing Jackson and his headstock broke, Jackson overnighted a new reverse dinky to the club I worked and we sent the old one out for him. Jim and his tech were in talks with PRS at the time for an endorsement deal.
Nah,not the first time ESP and Fishman get along with.Stephen from the Def did this way earlier, around 2015.
I remember seeing the first show with the new esp for Mick. My first festival at Knotfest Japan amd my first time seeing so many great bands.
The Jaw Breaker ESP came from Drum City-Guitar Land in Wheat Ridge, CO. It’s one of Mick’s favorite guitar shops to visit when he’s in Denver.
I’ve been there a few times, and while they do have budget friendly options, going there just to see the insane guitars I’ll never be able to afford is still fun.
Bought myself a E II arrow opened the box yesterday!
The jawbreaker finish is something I didn’t know existed but now I NEED ONE.
Mick needs to play a show with his sparkly guitar
I love the esp eclipses. One of my favorite takes on the single cut
Mick Thompson probably just let Shaun paint the guitar
It doesn't really get any better than esp. They are pretty much the top maker of metal guitars.
I see this metallic sparkles magenta esp being his first signature with ESP but I also see a lot of ESP Mick Thomson signature coming, he loves sick shapes as much as strats so I see some ESP M-I/M-II as his first sig and later arrows, and the sickest shapes ESP can do
I actually NEED that jaw breaker guitar
Mick is just working his way through all the brands.
Kim Thayil signature Guild
MusicMan will probably have a new Majesty series to celebrate Dream Theater's anniversary and new album
ESP has been dropping masterpieces lately. I got an SN-1007HT not too long ago and have absolutely no complaints.
Managed to secure one of Mick's blackouts, I love that thing 🫶
Didn't Mr. Hannemann have a nice ESP signature model? I loved his standardish shape, including the heineken design or just plain black. I thought about a similar ESP bass back in teh day but I never have time to practice, but one day perhap.
I have a Mr. Thompson BC Rich, but I do love Mr. Root's design, especially from Disasterpieces.
I can't imagine being such influential musicians in such huge bands and settling for Jackson or Gibson
Mick Thompson signature Eclipse would be so rad. Definitely would buy one in a heartbeat.
That jawbreaker though
Nngh!
Yes
You KNOW Fishman’ll do a MT Sig set
Big fan of Jackson guitars but I will admit ESP definitely has more variety and well they understand not everything needs a trem
yooooo this is so hype!
Definitely waiting for Mick’s signature! You already know his new pickups will be Fishmen’s heaviest set!
I’m stoked about the new Mick Thompson signature! It’s crazy that he switched too because it’s not like any of his gear actually sound bad
I hope he goes with that ESP forest model but if he does go eclipse I pray it has a 25.5" inch scale.
Why do I love that clown bust finish so much 😭
Bummed about Mark Morton switching. I always thought the Dominion was cool af
im hoping Mick does a Esp F series like last picture of him on your short
If Sal Vulcano was a metalhead, he'd be Mick. Could easily be brothers.
If I remember right.
Mick said he wasn't happy with his signature models that Jackson manufactured for his fans. They wanted to "cut corners" so it would be cheaper to make.
Mick wanted his signature models to be as close to his gear as possible. So he switched to ESP.
Sad to see Jackson being gutted... my uncle was in a super heavy local band and I can remember him playing his 80s-90s soloist/dinky. Loved them ever since, bought one recently and it's just not the same guitar. Even their custom shop shit isn't the same.
Really funny because I'm old enough to remember the birth of both Jackson and ESP. Jackson was a original guitar manufacturer with unique features, soul, sound and a solid 80's and 90's following. ESP started out as a parts company before making copies of every other company's guitars. LOL.
They started making copies that were better than the originals XD
Thats when they got mad and sent a c&d
“Clown exploded on it” bro what!
About to ask Shawn about that
Sheesh signature everything... dude even has a signature speaker, the DV-77
E.S.P. is the shit, no doubt.
I've got mostly Jacksons in my arsenal. Love them and I'll stay with them.
Do you think moving to esp is a business decision or a sponsorship decision or guitar quality decision. Perhaps something else.
Never thought I'd see Mick play a single cut
I was looking at an arrow but I think I'm gonna get Kerry King V or a Mille Petrozza...
I have been playing ESP for 20 years. I have no regrets.
CLOWN DID WHAT???
I’m curious if the Mark Morton signature will have a 25.5” scale length. His Dominion has it.
That jawbreaker guitar is thick!
Well whenever the new Mick sig pickups come out I may need to throw them into my Mick Thomson Jackson to stay kinda up to date lol.
Mick Thomson fluence set? sheeeeeesh
Gimme that Mark Morton LP!
saying " a clown exploded all over it" when a bandmember is called clown is just my humor ^^
Nice, good guitars, not a big fan of Metal, but they look cool, do you know anything about the Epiphone Dave Grohl?
Jawbreaker Arrow would be awesome in my arsenal 🤪
Didn’t know that tough dude looked like this under the mask… lol
The ECLIPSE is now my favorite Guitar !! I've been a hardcore Gibson Les Paul fan since I started playing when I was about 12 or 13 years old . I'm now almost 60 . 2 years ago I finally decided to try out a few other Brands of Guitars . The minute I picked up the Eclipse and struck a Chord , I knew instantly that the Eclipse was going home with me . I've been doing business with the Guys at
this Music Store for a lot of years so they gave me a great deal for the Guitar . Threw in a Custom Case , a Case of Strings , a couple of 12 ' Monster Guitar Cables , and a
Hooker in a Pear Tree . I'm sure there's someone who doesn't think that's funny , so I apologize . Go back and delete it from your mind .
I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe . And if any of you can afford it , and you're
looking for a new Guitar that is definitely rock solid with all the options get THIS . 🎸
How many guitars do you have
The Arrow is by far the coolest looking V-shape from any manufacturer.
Agufish exploded while making this video
I’m interested in the rings guitar players wear. On what fingers and size/weights. They have to affect their playing. Check it out.
Sooo dope
That FRX, though…
I'll never say no to sig ESPs in bright finishes! Well... LTDs. I can't afford ESPs. 😅
Mick Thompson was also with ibanez right
Good update
Mark Morton is truly a riff lord .
Mick and the jawbreaker clown barf yeah why not
Stay massively heavy Les Paul nerds
I wouldn't want a rainbow throw up on my guitar at all
I NEED Micks spec
I miss old school ESP days. Dave Mustaine, Wayne Static, Michael Amott, Gus G, Devin Townsend, Robb Flynn etc. 🖤🖤
I honestly don't care for signature guitars. Most of them are just stock models that have been "accessorised" by a "celeb guitarist" and then had their price hiked.
The only signature I have, is an October Guitars (now defunct) version of the Annihilator that Doyle from The Misfits designed and built himself. Just because it's so unique and badass looking.
I ended up buying the Mick Thompson jackson model right before he switched.
Me too lol :))
Jackson’s more affordable guitars have major QC issues coming out of China. I don’t blame artists for switching, it’s their name/credibility on the guitars. ESP/LTD make insane quality guitars for the price.
To be honest, i thought mick only had and played the one guitar that wasnt shown in this vid lol
Do you know if the Mark’s Gibsons still use the Dominion pickups? Tia
Mick's different guitars are now collector's items.
EMGs seem outdated, everyone now plays on fluence They are different, not better.
The two Jacksons in question are no longer available in France.
Signature arrow pls
Marks modern kind of just looks like the black water Chad kroeger sig
Can't go wrong with esp and gibson .
Mick is looking much less "beefy" these days.
Mick is smart to separate his guitars' colors from Slipknot's aesthetic.
I wonder if Gibson is ever going to make a 7 or 8 string line. Imagine a freaking 8 string les Paul.
Would love to see Mick go back to Ibanez
I am NOT a fan of LP-styled guitars (I prefer Superstrats) but I think I have to get one - an ESP because of Matsuri-san from Hanabie, Japan *chugchugchug*
Yo what abt the dime guitarz???
Cool to see but that wasn’t a horizon
Review a Dominion Pro!!
Slipknot / Lamb of God was the first concert I ever went to
I’m a huge Jackson fan and hate to see the mass exodus away from the brand.
What did Shawn do?
Hi
Mr 7 gone fishing.
Mick apparently left Jackson’s because they wanted to jack the price of his import signature sky high and he wanted it to be affordable
Its all about the money
Considering an individual, in a band , gets only a portion of the profit from touring, merchandise(they have employees to pay and feed)barely anything from streaming and album sales...having another source of income is a must. Hense, working with companies you endorse , to put out a product, that other musicians and fans may be interested in. If music is your life, better be a even better businessman .
So going to the #grinch of guitars Gibson got it from Lamb Of God got it
