I just bought the ‘23 AT4 duramax. Got 1k on it and cannot say enough about it! I’m also getting 22-23mpg city/highway avg with a moderate foot. Love it love it love it!

why do people say this it makes no sense ever. diesel is barely more expensive than 93, and is twice as efficient, this truck gets 30 mpg highway, while a 6.2 barely gets 16. and the price of diesel isn't double of premium, and if u put in 87 regular you're an idiot since it is even less efficient you end up paying more per mile than you would with premium.
@@Thepedell my thoughts exactly, I own a 2022 Trailboss 1500 Silverado and I love the engine but I am contemplating switching to GMC at4 more appealing and more luxury to me.

Can someone please explain what Trailer Brake Controller is? Is it to actually apply brakes on a trailer? I didn't know trailers have brakes. Also, why is it a slider/squeeze button? Sorry, I am completely new to trucks.
Yes it applies the brakes on the trailer. It is a squeeze button usually because you can manually apply more brake by pressing the slider closer together. Really useful on declines where you can take the pressure off your truck's brakes and engine by letting the trailer brakes handle a portion of the momentum of the decent
Trailer brakes, specifically the slider control to manually apply only the trailer brakes, is particularly useful if you ever found yourself experiencing trailer sway. Using only the trailer brakes will allow the trailer to 'pull' the tow vehicle into a controlled stait line where as applying the vehicle brakes will increase the sway as the trailer pushes the tow vehicle.

Similar equipped Trail Boss is over $5k less. I don't see the value difference. Same screens and controls in a different dash. The AT4 with a Duramax is sweet, I think I'm gonna order one here in the next couple months.
Hey Ben! I’d def go 3.0 diesel. I went from a ‘21 6.2 TB to a TRX. However, if I were to switch vehicles again, I’d be happy to go back to GM and this time I’d be all over the diesel
Nice video. How tall are you? I’m 6’6” and am wondering about headroom in this truck.
Dude I've been trying to test drive a 2023 3.0 Duramax for a few months now here in Utah and no dealer has one in stock long enough to take a spin in.
Great looking truck and the 18in wheels are just right.
I think as much as we would love the 6.2 and that V8 sound the Duramax just makes way more sense.
i have that 2021, is ridiculous nice. not sure that i like anything else more than this one.
Why is the MPG different on the at4 diesel from one at4 diesel to another???
The link to your buying guide is broken.
A bargain at 10k more than 2 years ago and 2% higher interest rates
I got mine in November it’s a 2023 in white and it’s phenomenal
General motors gets 2 👍🏾👍🏾
So even the Duramax has the start stop crap on them, between gas Dfm and Afm troubles I'm worried about even having to buy a new truck on top of redicaless prices
I got used to pushing the off button after startup
Nice love it in silver with the 6.2
I place my order for this exact truck in mid July, didn't start to be built until mid November and it's been stuck at Fort Wayne, IN ever since.
Oh this is missing the premium package, I ordered.
$73k…
What gas does the 6.2 take 91 or 93?
beautiful and expensive
I have 500 miles on the exact same truck. Nice truck so far.
just bought a 2023 at4 duramax because of this video you posted.
How do you like it so far ? I’m picking mine up Thursday
your going to love it. . . . if you are gonna work it I recommend the bigger diesel engine I believe it's a 6.0 duramax, this one is just to kind of brag you have a diesel gmc, which is exactly the only reason we bought it. . . . .
Is this a DEF?
GM AT4 with the 3.0 Duramax 🔥
Have that exact truck. It's awesome
Perfect truck. Love it 😍
I absolutely love this truck the design is a plush as interior looks like a Cadillac.
Trail boss is still better
I've had my 2022 at4 ecodiesel premium for three months now and I absolutely love it. It's my first truck also, I've always had sports cars.
So do you have a GMC or a RAM???
Ecodiesel?
But yes the At4 duramax 3.0 is a sweet ride congratulations
Similar equipped Trail Boss is over $5k less. I don't see the value difference. Same screens and controls in a different dash.
GM's argument in keeping the GMC brand through bankruptcy was that people will pay more for one when it's essentially the same as a Chevy. This example proves that.
Nice review of the truck though.
Although you are essentially right about the trucks being similar in most attributes, you're mistaken about the trail boss. The trail boss can not be optioned like AT4 in fact the Elevation can't either. The AT4 has ventilated /heated seats, power folding mirrors and several other luxury features unavailable to trailboss.
Much better dash and materials. Also trail boss does NOT have ventilated seats and power folding mirrors and a few other things here n there.
What is the Chevy equivalent of this
