This was a candidate for fast forwarding during the repetitive parts. I did enjoy the lesson and appreciate how much hand work is required to deburr and "force to fit" some of the pieces. A shorter version of this would be a good addition to the one where you bolted the wheel assembly together out in the driveway - perfect for the DIY guy who needs to know exactly how the whole thing goes together.
We can as long as they as we can find the parts. I rebuild Aermotor and I have a partner that builds Dempster motors. As for the sheet metal parts, I love straightening out and fixing torn up parts!
I never thought I would watch a guy build a windmill. Your videos are so interesting…
Haha yep, it pulls you in once you figure out we’re still building the same design from 1888. Old but ageless technology. Thank you for watching!!!!!

As an Electrician I’ve installed hundreds of ceiling fans in peoples homes. After seeing this I will no longer complain about assembling the blades 😆
Bahahahaha yeah, but I hate assembling ceiling fans too!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!!!!!!
Very informative thanks for posting
You’re very welcome! Thank you for the feedback and for watching!!!!!
Karl @MakeItKustom uses a little carbide deburring tool from KBC tools. Real quick.
Nice! I will look that up!!!!! Thanks for watching!!!!
Do you rebuild many of the old heads or just put up new stuff ?
