I think one of the most struggles in skateboarding is conquer that fear of doing something that you know how to do but over different scary, big, sketchy or whatever obstacles you are determinated to land.
Stood face to face with the obstacle, there's 20 metres between you and the finish line. All eyes are on you. You have your trick in mind, you know you have it locked , of course it's your go to. However... legs shaking with fear, trembling at the thought of what if, what if... real talk why wont they stop?? 'you do realise nobody even told you to do this!? but I'm not leaving I actually need this, I physically must..... and I will'.
Also Donovan's flips to quick grinds on benches are sick and his smith to grind the next rail attempt was amazing, he skates some fucking dodgey looking spots, I just realized how underrated he is, hockey and FA have such good teams
Daan is the best thing to happen to skateboarding in a long time. He even makes firecrackers look stylish
