Liza continually being able to silence Russell Howard with just two words will forever be my favourite element of this series. 😂
This series had a bunch of pub-themed tasks. Darts, pool table, the fiver under the pint of beer task... 0:28 The "adult" bedtime story and the "find something in common with this lady" task was set in a historic pub. I thought these tasks gave a classic "English" charm to the series. The cast reflected that vibe.
A lot of the seasons seem to have a random theme. One of them was "Japanese" iirc
Russell's attempt is partway between the overblown complicated nature of James Acaster making a big circle, and Nish Kumar trying to sink a basketball
"1, 2, 3, fuck" is weirdly hilarious
Liza’s was absolutely a “trick shot”. The task didn’t specify that it couldn’t be a camera trick shot
meh, I guess if she had done it herself then sure but it kinda seemed like it was the camera crew who did it for her
"I was so happy though. Something so exciting about chipping a football into a caravan."
"Yeah. You were asked to do a snooker trick shot."
Yeah it’s definitely snooker. You can hear the r and more importantly the cc verifies snooker
@@lordchaa1598 English is far from my native language, but I even I clearly heard "snooker"
I looked up "what is the snooker referee called" just to learn that it's called "referee" lol
sometimes in this programme I watch a task and think "nobody deserves less than 3 points"
this is one of those tasks where I'd struggle to award anyone more than 3 points. Agree with Greg though, the pun was enough to net Tim Vine 1st place.
I completely forgot they did the Kumar/Smith-Bynoe prank on Russell. I think it's a bit harsh that he got marked down for it though since unlike Nish and Kiell, the failed attempts didn't make a difference to Russell's eventual attempt.
Greg's smiley bewildered look at 4:47 gets me every time

"What a trick, look at the craaazy trick" has Tree Wizard energy.
this reminds me of my favorite prank trick shot. take 2 balls and put them right next to 2 corner pockets on a short end of the table, tell your assistant to put a finger on each of them so they know they didnt fall in because you cheated and bumped the table. then put the que ball on the other side of the table centered and a quarter flat on the table a foot or two from the side with your assistant, also centered. you then hit the ball pretty hard but with enough controll to hit the quarter flush. this makes the que ball jump the edge of the pool table and directly at your assistant's lower stomach or below depending on their height, giving them a bit of a scare.
I’m quite surprised that they all used the snooker table. Task didn’t specify that.
A trick shot is defined as taking place on a pool table so I'd be prepared to back up your defense in the studio if I were you.
@@bootieos7701type in "trick shot" on the top of this page and see how many pool tables come up
@bootieos7701 I would do a Google search of trick shots if I was you. Man different things can be trick shot.
@@JSpaulding96"A trick shot (also trickshot or trick-shot) is a shot played on a billiards table (most often a pool table, though snooker tables are also used), which seems unlikely or impossible or requires significant skill."
From Google
"Look at the lovely trick"
alice levine is one of the most beautiful women on the planet she is funny charming sweet smart very talented
Papa G realized he couldn't make fun of his adopted son Asim for not knowing what you call a snooker man. Father of the year!
The production on taskmaster has really come a long way
Alex is quickly going to be the new gamemaster for the capital at this rate.
Oh yeah, Liza's attempt, the Poundland version of Noel's camouflage
Loving the UA-cam content
7:36 Assim made an A in the middle of the table!
Is the background music for Liza Tarbuk's attempt William Onyeabor's Good Name?
I have to agree with Russell on this one.
That mini table was bugging me for so long, then I realised why..... the reds weren't properly set up.
Was this part of the series? Or a previously un-aired task? Asking from the U.S.
part of the series! all of the tasks with studio bits are aired because they only show a set number of tasks in the studio. unaired tasks won't have the studio commentary / points awarding from greg
at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.
Do you prepare your corndogs yourself or do you purchase them from a store? If you purchase them from a store, where do you think sells the best corndogs?
That’s highly unsafe, but I appreciate the thought process. However, that goes against all food safety protocols, I doubt you wear gloves and your jacket pocket is hardly a sanitary transportation device. You could make someone very ill. Think about that before you attempt this stunt again.
The next day the manager yells at the kitchen for forgetting to put the corn dogs out.
You are so zAnY.
Bet you're the life and soul of all conversations.
But Wtf is a corndog, though
Tim and Asim’s are similar, yet one score 5 and the other only 2.
I never understand the scoring.
Like whose line is it anyways (originally a British show on the same network) the points don't matter
Obligatory comment: Alice Levine is gorgeous.
she sure is alice levine is one of the most beautiful women on the planet
I love taskmaster but for me, series 6 was always the weakest of the bunch for a variety of reasons 😅
For me as well - and STILL it is better than pretty much everything else on the telly
It's weirdly endearing to me because of the lack of giving a fucks low key inspirational. And Liza and the cake and Asim and the rap and Howard and call me if you need me and Vine and that damned hook, Alice and the chocolate egg
Edited to add that the only one I actively dislike is Season 8. And I think I would've liked 2-3 of the contestants in other contexts.
@jenelaina5665 100% agree. Iain Stirling is the only contestant across all series I've actively disliked
I've watched rewatched all the TM series but I didn't even get to the end of 8.
Liza's attempt is so good 😂😂
Did nobody notice the video-id or am I the only one juvenile enough to point it out?
If I had noticed it, I would have pointed it out. I almost never pay attention to the vid-id, though. Good eye.
Alice Levine is one of the most beautiful women on the planet 4:52 4:54
Tarbuck is the one contestant who clearly won the series because she became a favourite of Greg's. That editing trickery was a sea of bullshit.
assim got cheated on that, it was for sure better in setup than tims. and he got 2 instead of 5 points because of the pun? Oh well. that does make sense
Assim didn't even make a "shot", he just tossed the ball down a long tube...
First
Another task where Liza got marked high for putting in absolutely no effort. This series really wasn't great.
You kidding? Liza was the highlight of the series, especially in the code task when the guys completely ignored her suggestions until she just gave Alex the correct answer and walked out…
Liza was the one I enjoyed the most in this series. The series as a whole doesn't rank so high. But it is still really good as compared to other things to watch. My personal favourite series(s) is 7, 5, 4, 11, 13, 1, 3 and the current on 16. Lol, there are so many really good ones.
@@ncitshubham You are so lucky to get them all - we miss out here in Australia. I've only seen two full series, 14 and 15.
He always gives the brown contestants lower score. Liza did nothing to meet the criteria of the task, same as Assim (he just dropped the ball). It was all CGI for Liza and she scored higher than Assim!
Does Tim actually think he's funny?
"I'm not sure about your hair."
*SHOTS FIRED*
His heckling was the best lmao
