Loved Bells reaction, she's so used to this sort of thing that she didn't even react lol. Some great things there so hope you do really well with them. Thanks for sharing. Loving these videos.
I'd definitely have clothes rails to help drop out the creases. Washing to deal with the extreme creasing, which would be better during Summer when an outside line would help with creases.
They'll do well on vinted. Bales get a bad rep but I've had some epic finds in some from different wholesalers before. Looking forward to the other unboxings!
Nowadays because of the energy price rises we really have to factor in the washing and drying of items. Before this rise it wasn't too much of a factor.
Ye it’s a pain but I guess that’s why the per item price is low. If you want cleaned and iron you probably pay at least double if not more from some companies. Hard work though.
I recently ordered a bale from them too (I haven't received yet) but I chose this company as they send out the bales they receive for their stores, without going through first. Granted I'm trusting that what they say is true but they seem like a decent company, from what I've read of them.
@@CookieTheHaydens I decided to go through as soon as I got the 50kg branded sweatshirts/hoodies for £300. My initial thought is that I prob won’t do that particular bale again, though it depends how well things sell, I suppose. It required a thorough processing as many did contain marks and damage. 12 were only suitable as scrap fabric 12 I wouldn’t consider high enough quality to be worth re-selling online but should be ok for the donation pile 79 seem good enough to do something with. Of these 79, I picked out 30 to sell solo but most not really worth more than 10-15 from an initial check (5-10 profit, if they sell). The rest are USA school, college, work, local sports, and club sweatshirts & hoodies. I don’t know enough about the popularity of these to know what to do with them yet but considering selling them as processed size bundles (damaged & heavily stained items removed) but sell just to cover cost per item & lot fee. These bales, as you also noted, can’t really be sold as single items without first washing them at the very least. Some have definitely needed some stain remover.
It’s very much luck of the draw. I’ve had good and bad from both organisations. If you can keep the price per piece down then obviously much lower risk overall.
Great video Chris would love to see you open the other 3 bales, I also placed an order for 2 of their bales in the sale but still waiting to receive mine.
Bought a 90's Branded Shorts Bale from this crew for 150 in the same sale. About 10% were 90's. Got in touch and asked if this was correct as the bale label said branded shorts not 90's branded shorts. They said the label was wrong and it was the 90's stuff. Only option was to return them which I would have to cover the postage at probably 20+ (plus the hassle involved). I replied saying it was misleading advertising, no reply. Ended up keeping them and taking it as a lesson learnt, that lesson being avoid in future.
@@CookieTheHaydens i wouldn't say that honestly any of the items you received once you remove promoted fees and postage won't amount to much profit at all to be honest whereas by paying a bit more and looking for vintage adidas hoodies Sweatshirts on vinted especially late 90s can fetch you more money and you are paying 7 quid all in.
@@Micfri300 If I make £10 average a piece on these which is easily achievable I’ll be happy. Buying true vintage on Vinted might happen occasionally but not that often, I look just like you!
are you still looking at buying clothes? I can get hold of clothes that I personally cherry pick and I know there value! all top brands in mint like new condition, I would sell them in boxes of say 20-30 kg I would live chat show you exactly what you will exactly get in the box I sell. we would come to an agreement on price and it would be ongoing as I would actively find quality clothes every week. my aim would be the buyer doubles his money I think that's fair.
I don’t think £150 into £260 is great considering the time it takes to prepare them, Cost of running the washing machine and ironing. There’s other things with better profiles
I mean your not gonna lose money. But its a lot of work for very little profit. Max £10 all in for nearly all of them. The odd one that may be £20. You're never gonna get £20 for a used Columbia jumper or used Puma zip jumper. All the best with it but i wouldn't ever buy a bale like this.
I think your the only one with this opinion. There’s a lot of carhartt sellers who have said there’s good money here. I’m pretty sure most of this is worth more than £10 and 2 items have gone already without listing. Thanks for watching.
@@CookieTheHaydens I was talking about online sales, not youtuber sales. And about the jumper bale, not watched the carhartt bale one yet. I cant see much there i could list for more than a tenner. I hope you are right and wish you all the best with them.
@@mattpeacock1435 Ah right ye got mixed up. The carhartt bale is better but I’m still happy with the jumper one. I’ve only listed half a dozen so far, the cat jumper went for £28 and I’ve sold 4 off eBay so it’s all good.

Oh ye for sure
Could be great to see a "1 year later" type video about how well these items sold.
Good idea in theory but in practise keeping track of every item is not easy.
Before Covid hit, Bales were great, then everyone started buying due lockdown, still today quality of bales have dropped never been as good for me.
Ye they hit the mass market and wholesalers started cherry picking
Im blessed to have a goodwill outlet near me, respectfully that bale had 0🔥 It had more modern tees then vintage goodies.
Im only 40 mins or so from them..Its just the washing decreasing that i cant be bothered with.look forward to you opening the others.
