Look at 1964 100yard race. Bob Hayes is in lane 1. Cinder track was chewed up in lane 1 and 2. He ran a 9.1. 4 years later in Mexico City the San Jose kids just blew peopke away on First Synthetic track. Also had altitude. Track surfaces have a huge factor in the sprint times. Unless it rains.
@@muhammadshakoor8745 okay, so if bob Hays would run 8 seconds today. That means everyone else in that Tokyo race would be running 8 seconds or 9.0. Do you really think Wieslaw Maniak from Poland would be running a 9.20 on today’s tracks? Il be generous and say Bob Hates would be sub 9.80.
@@thesource0024 yep that's the logic, just like if Pistol Pete had a 3 point line in college how many points he would've scored? Heard of a astroturf hit that wouldn't been a hit on grass because of the surface?
I think he’s going by whoever ran the time first. I know Fred and Omanyala both ran 9.76 but since Coleman ran it a few years earlier than both of them, he gets the #6 spot on the All Time list

@8:00 I know Tyson gay and yohan Blake are tied for 2nd, but I consider Tyson gay to be #2 and Yohan Blake#3. Why? Basically, Tyson Gay ran his 9.69 into a negative head wind, while Yohan Blake had help with a positive wind speed. Also, if you look closely at Tyson Gays start when he ran his 9.69 he had the worst start ever. He was easily the last from the blocks. One youtuber did the math and calculated if Tyson gay had an average start he could of possibly hit 9.65
It doesn't matter how he start, because that is still how his race went. You can't say how if this happen, he would have gotten a better time, u can say the same for any sprinter lol
The so-called substance that Nester took wasn't even on the band list then back in 2008, they added it to the list years later, but they had to find something to take back one of Bolts medal huh....
I still think bolt was dirty. He was always just rumning to warmup for ever 2 years. Jamacians were caught. American also. Steroids were always ahead of testing. I just have you look at his last Major meet in Worlds. At 31 he was just a year or 2 past his peak. Look at gatlin. Look at a American swimmer who won at 21 and at 35. This guy was a partied guy for 8 years. Bolt didnt seem to have his cockiness. Then in the relay he was not even able to be beat. He pulks up lame.
No one is faster than Bob Hayes, if Hayes ran on today's speed track he would run 8 seconds, he ran 10 seconds on a dirt track with one a wrong shoe size in 1964
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Omanyala doesn't exist😂😂😂😂
WHAT RACE DO YOU RUN IN?
The new tracks and tech helps. In such a short race, cinder vs modern materials is a huge difference.

Omanyala African record is 9.77. its the 9 th fastest time on record
Steve Mullins at number 10 is crazyyyyy 🎉
Asafa set or tied it 4 times between 2005-08
This list needs to be corrected. What about Fred Kerley and omanyala

@georgepoloai then Blake shouldn't be on the list🤷
Man us Jamaicans are amazing
and mostly missing Ben Johnson
Bolt ran 100m in 8.xx seconds at 100×4 world record

Why would you put any runner that tested positive for drugs on this list?! Smh
Asafa set the pase with records for 100 meters for Jamaica
Will we see another Bolt in this era of sprinting ?
Where is the Kenyan Sprinter Omanyala???
The NFL could put together an Olympic track team that could compete with the US and Jamaica for gold.
Wheres Lamont Jacobs?
You need to learn how to pronounce times correctly. For example, its not 9,76 (seventy six X), it is 9,76 (seven six).
