In this video, we will show you one of the free parks in Legazpi City, Albay. The Sawangan Park.
Sawangan is the old name of Legazpi City, where Sawang means “hang or tie”. Sawangan is where the various types of old small sea boats used to dock.
With a nice landscape of the mountain on the side and a serene panoramic view of the ocean on the background, I can say that the residents on this area and those nearby are so lucky to have a place like this to enjoy.
The lush green lawns and flowers around the area added to the natural beauty of the park, creating a refreshing escape from the noisy bustling city life you have.
The well-paved pathways, the accessibility of some shops in the area plus the well-maintained greenery for a free space like this is a hidden gem for nature lovers like me. I surely enjoyed this place.
Remember, a quality time doesn’t have to be expensive. Enjoying doesn’t need to be complicated. By simply walking around the boulevard, sitting on the bench to enjoy the fresh air or just having a picnic with family friends and you will really appreciate this place.
