- In this video I install a vibration motor with a speed controller to the top of my dust collection filter.
Here are the items I bought from Amazon. I have no affiliation with Amazon or the makers of the parts I bought. I get zero kick from you buying the linked items.

Nice to see you back. Very cool idea. I'm going to have to try that.
Great idea, and great to see a new video. Hope you have the time to upload more soon. Thanks.
Haha, normally I work pretty hard to REMOVE the vibration from any of my tools. Great idea, anxious to see how well it works.
Good to see you post again
Good video! It surely works. It’s just makes sense.
6:56 sounds like my grandpa after the bbq
Nice add to your DC Eric. Could you add a relay with delayed start for the vibration motor with a timed drop-out so for example the vibrator would come one when the dust collector power was removed then run for 15 seconds or however long you think you need to keep the filter clean. I believe that's known as a ON/OFF delay relay.
Good idea! Thanks.
Any update on this? THIS IS BRILLIANT!!!!!
IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS
A dude just hired me to bolt one of these in the ceiling of his condo which is concrete. He plans to us it on his noisy upstairs neighbor.
Great video, thanks for posting. Do you have an update to the speed controller link on Amazon?
Nice upgrade, maybe I missed it, but how is shaker/plywood mounting surface attached to the filter canister?
can this device use to generate vibration to ceiling or wall?
Hi so do you know of any other spend controller that would work?
hello sir.im working on a project with the same speed controller and vibrator motor.is it still the parts working up to now or how long before you replaced the parts?SCR OR VIBRATOR.im not sure if it its okay to use speed regulator in ac motor.thank you
Great idea- your links aren't working... found the motor, not sure which controller.
sorry for bothering you but, how strong is the motor? i mean, i know it says 60W, but i don't really know what that means in terms of vibrations.
What watt size was your motor? When I used the link it there are three options.
very interesting, but your links aren't working.
What wattage did you get?
If you really wanted to prevent trolls (perhaps like me) from commenting on your lack of testing, just wait until you have enough dust to make your point. You said "it works" but then "I can't really test it until..." It honestly is hard to believe you when you haven't tested if it gets the dust out.
Motor total weight
I looked up the motor in Amazon and its going from $285 to $305 dam that's high.
its $45 on ebay

First to comment. I have nothing to say.....
If it works for concrete it works for dust
Way too complicated! Just attach a personal massager to the filter, much cheaper and takes 2 minutes to attach
