Glasses are awesome. It's like going from 720p to 4k.
Would be nice if Crusader Strike and Divine Storm actualy do holy dmg. Then it scales with SoC and Sanctitity Aura for a decent dmg boost.
If that happened, we'd be broken tbh. Atleast right now, if they crit, they count as physical attacks and reset your exorcism/hs through ART OF WAR
bro, for the eye problem, try taking hot baths in mgcl (magnesium chloride). start doin 2-3 a week, reducing ist to every 2 weeks when u feel good.
With nade, hoj, and repentance, you don't get kited as easily anymore, but if those are on CD yeah you're wheel chaired
Haven't been using shield at all lately. Repentence into HoJ seems to do the trick just fine for me. Though for some classes it might be pretty useful.
Problem is PvP isn’t only 1v1 so yea you need shield.
@@andrecardoso6941 Thats why you play with other classes that bring more reliable snares. You need to give up so much as Ret to bring AS.
Priest, warrior and Shaman just remove ours and it's a 30s CD. I personally prefer getting off an extra 400-1200 (without crits) damage throughout a fight depending on how many times I proc AoW to land kills.
AS is still great to have but so is Exo.

I feel like you just can't use avengers shield anymore and have to rely on burst within repentance and hoj
The glasses thing is such a wild thing. Imagine using an exosuit for everything and not relying on your own muscle then being surprised when your own muscle is weakened. Literally any other muscle group gets weakened people train it, eyes? nah just support it
Melee spec rune for hunters is = to 25 points in the rogue talent tree, its actually insane. Like two classes in one.
I play melee hunter, this couldn't be more true lol. It's basically just rogue without stealth. I'm lone wolf, survival talents but BM melee is pretty much the same, just a different play style.

@1999evo mutilate = 1 rune, off hand dmg +50% = 20 points, sub tree for 20% more dmg = 5 points. Actually, the hunter rune scales better because you're not locked to only using daggers. So it has even higher top end dmg.
Edit: imagine a hunter using thrash blade and another random 1h sword.(dragons call?) Now you have multi sword proc on top of it.
its like hunter does not have any melee specific talents, except 20% more crit chance with raptor, mongoose and barely any skills to use with melee.
You only get a few runes and hunter talents have very little for melee, it would make sense the runes have to make up for it.
You're right about glasses. Train your eye Jutsu instead of wearing glasses.

Meanwhile casters do more damage, with instant casts, from ranged, whilst moving
I start casting as destro lock and get nuked before i‘m done with 1 spell or they run out of range 😂

Exactly. Exorcism was an amazing buff! I’m killing prior left and right in group fights. Higher crit is going to make me even scarier.

Savix - complains about going oom after one fight
Also Savix - uses max rank holy light after using repentance on a warrior to go from 93% hp to 100% hp (and losing about 30% of his mana in the process)

The only time Ret felt good in SoD was when you couldn't get rid of Avenging Shield. After that? Horrible. Phase 2? Worse. Cant' even kill a shaman, every class has more burst, it's literally the Battle of the Trash when it's Warrior vs Ret - and if you have bubble you win, with a healer though? Warriors still scary af and the paladin all they can do is buy time by bubbling. Can't kill a healer. Ridiculous.

RIP - Ret for Phase 3? If they don't change those runes from Phase 3 it's going to suck. They need to redo the paladin runes, badly. None of this 'holy shock' bs.
We can’t kill shamans most of the time true but Ret is good rn bro if you get on top of a squishy you can delete them. Utilize repentence and go exorcism our burst is one of the best rn
I miss when getting kills in wow was hard and took time. Now in SoD, everyone class can one shot everyone in less than 2 seconds..
You no, when you do what you did with glases, you legit save your eyesight. However, its cause when your eye adjust 100% correct(Hopefully) - Then your eye relaxes > now you use the whole eye = 100% use vs 50% use. What wears the most on the eyes? 100% ofc.

As ret you get oom in like 15 seconds unless you go guarded by the light. and in that case your healing is absolute garbage... really struggling to make ret solid for pvp on this phase right now
yup it feels bad, 0 mana regen 5% from crusader strike is nothing. or u go guarded and destroy your healing potential. ret feels like worse warrior this phase.
Well i think its okay. You don’t wanna give them 100% mana uptime with no penalty. What’s the use of holy paladins then if you’re just gonna make ret pala a hybrid tree?
@@hakangokce1670 ret paladin has always been a hybrid, you do less dmg than pure dps because your entire kit is utility and offhealing. they dont have a single insta cast healing ability and rets offhealing is medicore at best in OG classic. even then it wasnt possible until t2.5 gear or rank 13 gear because it was the only 2 sets that actually have mele stats + spellpower and int on them. SoD you just go oom using ur dps rotation and u might have enough mana for a few flash of lights or a single holy light.
I mean you really don’t even need art of war let’s be honest guys. Having guarded by the light increases overall dps over time way more than having exorcism off cooldown would. As long as you have sheath of light then art of war is completely useless. Run it if you want I guess but have fun drinking mana between every trash pull

They designed it with the 50% heal nerf in mind for a reason, even if that reason is annoying.

avengers shield is no longer the play young paladin in this clip I never saw any benefit from avenging shield but what I did see was a huge difference in our damage where you go oom I have already killed the target ps: if you fight a mage who is good at resets your avenger sheild will not save you
Yeah avengers shield is way overhyped and exorcism hits hard af now I’m critting 700-900 with it at times
Put all the exorcism runes into one rune and give us a movespeed rune
IVE BEEN SAYING THIS! Ret needs a ~15%move speed bonus at all times and it would solve a ton of our mobility issues in pvp and allow us to get way more uptime. One of the only buffs that would drastically improve gameplay without breaking us with more burst

only class i cant stand atm is melee hunter idk why melee spec is so overtuned like why bring the cd of raptor strike down to 3 seconds? giving it a chance to reset and making it hit with both weapons was not enoug?
making it hit with both weapons and making its' cd like half should be enough. They went so overboard, even I as a rogue feel weak even tho mutilate is pretty strong.

@@dmilla9600 I've never seen a shockadin threaten me in the slightest and when I have one on my team they are trying to do dmg instead of heal and I kick them

AOW procs just eat people in PvP. Avenger's cooldown is far too long to be useful. In a 1v1 setting vs the right class I can see shield having perks, but Exo will literally take half a health bar away.

Classic is such an outdated game. I really thought they were going to change all this non sense in SOD. I don’t have the time or the will to farm AB rep. It takes way too long and it’s too boring to farm the same old BG non stop. BGs ain’t even fun anymore but we still need rep for bis gear. Classic is nothing about skill just about who plays the game the most and has no life.

Warriors are the bottom of the barrel right now. Yet… due to warrior mentality, we persevere. Only class I see us beating is MAYBE a trash ass rogue. Just because their health pool is low enough to die within acouple crits if they don’t kite.

I havent played ab yet but i can imagine how pug ab is one sided for alliance. Because if in wotlk hordes are so often dumb enough to play bs zerg and 3 bases tactics then in classic where there are many more dumb players i assume they stick to this stupid tactic all the time. At least thats what we can in this video.
