I got my Imperial Sentry, Character pack 2, and Royal Guard on Saturday. The Imperial Sentry is a kickstarter & convention exclusive repaint of the Royal Guard, looks different enough between the two. I found I didn't need to heat the joints up, the articulation is firm but moves smoothly with detents in the shoulders, elbows, and knees. Fantastic paint on everything. Character pack 2 has the bare swap out forearms and calves with a alt head for the Imperial Sentry, I don't plan on swapping out the limbs but the alt head I like more for both figures so that's how I'll display mine, Fighting Mezco's Conan & Frazetta Girl's Darkwolf. I have the rest on pre-order, can't wait for the Wave 3 Mermen!
Kyle, as with most adapted scripts movies, tv shows, streaming shows , reading the original book or viewing the source material is where the quality and narrative lies. GOF went off the rails per say. Editors really do have a hand in what is presented out there usually for the best. I did not support the kickstarter too many things vying for my time and IPs I already have a stake in for my money. Your review and others are making me rethink getting a 'figure and see if its a make cute😄 I like my animals anamorphic or other wise. I appreciated the comparisons.Excellent review..✌️
I got two of the basic figures from the Kickstarter to check them out and I'm very pleased with them, might get a couple more here and there. They do look good with Mythic Legions but I'm actually putting mine with another Kickstarter toyline called Animal Warriors of the Kingdom, they fit in perfectly there for me. Glad you were able to check one out, the one you reviewed looks pretty cool, might have to get him the more I think about it
These figures look great. I tried to buy one but the shipping was more expensive than the figure itself. Hope they find a way to make international shipping (to Europe) a bit more affordable.
