Love this!!! I have the same mason jars so I will have to do this project! What kind of small candles are you using inside your jars??? They have such a beautiful glow? Are they real wick candles?
The candles are not real! They are Walmart’s mainstays brand battery operated candles. They come in a box of 12 for $5.97. 😄

I use my acorns for food I put the shells in the fire and they are very flammable be careful using a candle in a jar with them

Do you have to preserve them or can you use them after you collect.
They need to be preserved. Some may have bugs inside or may mold if not dried out in the oven.
I tried this without aluminum foil and the nuts cracked. Is this because I didn't dry them enough beforehand, or because of the lack of aluminum foil?
I don’t think it would be from the lack of aluminum foil.
New experiments suggest I didn't turn them around enough in the oven.
Can I use the ones who hang on the tree or should I wait till they fall by themselves?
I waited until they fell.
which glue is the best for attaching the caps to the acorn?
I used hot glue and it worked great!

@jasminenc12345 The ones I made are still like new and I made them last year! I made beautiful ornaments encrusted with sparkles and multiple other things as well with the acorns and all of it preserved well. Hope this helps. :)

Thank you wpuld you say 2,3 years I am making dreamcatcher and was going to hang acorn tops but am nervous to sell them and have them go bad. Thinking I should put tested to last for -- years at least. Thanks for your video was a huge help. I picked them then realized they might go bad!
