Thanks for the review on these! I did research for about 1+ years for a "1 boot quiver" and was able to get a pair of these on my feet. They were mostly comfy straight out of the box and now have a pair in my ski bag ready for next season!

Love this boot, this is my touring set up on my shift w/ my Backlands ( just skinned around Bertha pass and every part of that set up just dialed in. Need a little more time in the boot just because I down size to get my heal locked in. But guys with a little bit avg to narrow foot it fits like a wetsuit (yeah it will bite you getting in and out so watch that I thought you have Flintstone feet?

No big deal really, mostly I think you would use this boot with a pin binding. ie Shift/Kingpin/Beast and still works with many regular bindings. But within the next couple of years, I think all or most will be going with Gripwalk soles!
My feet are a bit duck footed are there any boots shaped like this? Or any modification which can be done? i think your videos do a great job about educating people around there ski boot thank you :)
Hi Edward, Fischer has addressed it with their Soma-Tec allowing for the natural v stance. so they might feel pretty good for you. Not too much that can be done modification wise, as it really is an offset to the toe and heels. But what you may find is that the duck foot stance is accentuated when you are standing in a relaxed stance, yet when you stand forwards and on a ramp you become much more forward in your alignment. :) Cheers

I would like you to easily compare the Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD (120) and the Salomon QST Pro (120) TR, my goal is to use them as a single gear boot. I am using the Salomon guardian binging on a 110 skis for resort days with short walks and a pin binging on a 92 skis for longer walks, which boot do you recommend me the most? Why Salomon has chosen a changeable sole (Alpine or Touring) while Atomic only have the WTR what is your opinion about that? As I think the future is the Shift binding, which boot is better for that binding and staying suitable for the others touring bindings? I know I focused the questions on the sole but I also would like to know your opinion between the performance of these boots 😄. Thankss!!
Hi Victor, Thanks a lot for watching! Yeah I do like both boots, but I think this atomic is the winner between the two (subject to it fitting your foot) Simply because of the great feel, liner and weight all combine to be a very powerful but awesome touring boot. The ROM is impressive aswell for when in walk mode. I don't think the sole will be much of an issue and with the Shift binding, it would be a great combination. The Shift is MNC like the guardian, so not much to worry there, either will work. At the end of the day it will all come down to your foot, but both are very moldable. Cheers, Craig

what do you think of the fact that the soles are WTR when the industry is moving to GripWalk?
