I'm pumped for these sets. I really only go for the north-pole sets, because I don't have space for every year's Xmas sets. So I'm excited to get one this year after a hiatus. I personally think the truck packs a lot of details into a small build, which I love.
Very nice overview. I was also thinking that I would've preferred if the Post Office included the truck instead of the balloon and thought the truck looked more like a gift with purchase set. I will still get this and am excited to get a post office as I only have winter village sets back to 2014.
Thanks for the fully detailed review with all the new parts and techniques. I really like the roof techniques. The general look is very nice and the add of the balloon IS very "fresh". I Saw on the back of the box WE Can make a small construction outside using the ramps. This set is better than the two previous years, much more in the Christmas atmosphere. I didn't see any stickers except for the truck. I will rebuild the first post office. Are you going to modify it adding tiles by example ? Or something else. Always a pleasure to listen to your detailed descriptions. Take care. Julien from France.
Every time I've watched a video on this set, I've not been a fan of it. I don't like the balloon or understand the outdoor fireplace. The delivery truck should have come with the set or been a GWP even if I don't like the Christmas tree on the roof....LOL. For depth of the set, it matches other Christmas/Winter Village sets, and I'm sure a lot of people including me only put them out at Christmas time on mantels or shelves, and the narrow depth is perfect for that.
Just my opinion, but I do not really like the look of this one. Especially after how fantastic last year's Alpine Lodge looked. It's gotten to the point where I only buy the winter village set every other year. I loved the 2019 gingerbread house, but did not like the 2020 elf clubhouse. I liked the 2021 Santa's visit set, but did not like the 2022 winter shops and tram set.
I’m not a fan. It doesn’t look like a post office and compared to last years set and side builds this is very underwhelming. I think this is a huge miss for Lego this year
For me, the lever is to sort the naughty or nice letters

The lever for the letters is a naughty nice thing
I like the ‘facade ‘ style as it makes for more displays room in the front.
They use a hot air balloon in the Polar Express movie …. That is the one reference which comes to mind

I think this set looks really great. Will for sure be getting it. Thanks for the great review.

I don’t have any of the older (pre 2019) sets so I’m missing any vehicles. So for 20 I’ll pick up up the delivery truck.
The box art shows a multi instruction book symbol.
Will we be seeing your Lego winter village this year?

Too thin, no details inside. At 70€ will be good
The small interiors break my soul. Need more breathing room imo.

Great video!
I won’t be buying this.
Can’t stand facades.
