- Nomad makes some of the best metal watch bands around. The first one i got was dope and upgrading my watch, I decided to get another band for it also. Having mixed feeling on the new one I decided to make a video on all three to compare for you guys, Nomads older Version 1 Stainless Steel band to the new Aluminum band and Version 2 Stainless Steel.

I have the AW SS series 6 in silver and the Nomad stainless steel strap silver previous version.
I agree, the connection of the strap to the watch is nicer on the V2.
But I like the butterfly clasp and brushed silver colour of the V1 better. I personally find the V2 silver too shiny!!!

I also like the weighted feel for my bands. thx for pointing that out about the light weight version, because that wouldn't be for me.

Is the aluminum bracelet similar in finish to the aluminum watch (that matte like silver texture and color)?
Yes it is! Exact same finish and look. Looks so clean together.

Those big squared lugs are what’s preventing me from getting a black V1 I found cheap. I like the rounded look of the watch, and have slim wrists, those lugs would make matters worse

I heard that the straps magnet is very weak thus the watch can fall from your wrist is that true?
Not at all, other than the strong magnets, it has a clasp system as well. The magnets just make the clasp come together in a satisfying way. You have to press the side buttons on the clasp to unhook it.
Not true at all. The magnet / clasp is more secure than any metal band I’ve had. The quality is unmatched.
I have the space gray apple watch SE. which one do you think is better: ttg the black stainless steel or the black aluminum strap?
The First version Stainless Steel black for sure! If you want the updated clasp and don’t mind a ultra light band for $100 USD more, I’d get the Aluminum. But in my opinion the “Legacy Stainless Steel” is the most bang for buck.
