Sides is SOLIDLY MEDIOCRE and like most of the WNBA will do everything possible to destroy and marginalize any talent that exists intuitively. Great analysis Sam. I'm no expert but do have an opinion. I think they could have, should have won this game. First Kelsey was not her usual self. CC and Boston played well. Hull best defensive player on the team, she's all over the place and takes a lot of hits and on the floor. Hull also not fed the ball enough, needs more shots. Top notch 3 pt. shooter. Why was Fagbenle not in the game from the start. Smith's playing has improved but Katie is not playing up to snuff right now. Fever is my team but they seem to have those games where performance wanes a bit and they get beat. But looking around the sports league how many teams, whether in football, baseball, NBA, hockey, etc. go undefeated. The best lose games. From what I've observed and I'm new to the WNBA, anyone can win on any given night and anyone can lose. The teams overall are all very good. And every team seems to play their hearts out.

They didn’t have to lose this game, but I’m glad they lost. They are lazy on defense and the coaching is terrible. On defense 1-2 players consistently turn their backs on their opponent leaving wide open shots at the 3-point line. They play stagnant standing around on offense making it easy for teams to defend. Screens are still weak and lack proper technique, consistently missing shots/layups around the bucket. They have an inability to convert on dime passes, and the basketball IQ is not kicking in. the lack of b-ball IQ at the start of games (if you’re tired just play smart that will get you through, then turn up in the 4th down the stretch). There’s prob a long list of other bad habits they need to clean up, and the coaching stinks! I can’t watch a complete game. This is a thinking men/women’s game.
Fagbenle should have been on Collier and Smith should have been on the bench, she's too slow for a team like the Lynx. Sides also had them packing the paint and leaving shooters wide open for 3's. We did till the one team got the lead back got a comfortable lead and then start calling again. it was the most corrupt display officiating I’ve ever seen.
