When you consider the mix of salty, sweet, and umami, it might not taste too bad. Think of pineapple or peaches on ham. Or dipping french fries in a chocolate Frosty. Or chicken nuggets with plum sauce. Or salted caramel. Or peanut butter & banana sandwiches. I once dipped a fish stick in melted semi-sweet chocolate, and it tasted surprisingly good.
Oscar's food strategy is to always put chocolate sauce on everything.
