I agree with you about starting with a different word everyday. I usually go with the first word I think of, even if it's a rubbish wordle guess lol Gives it more of a challenge, and like you say, you just tend to play the same words everyday.
When I first started playing, Teach was my starter. That was the answer not too long ago and I tried thinking of another good starter that wasn't used yet and I came up with Least. I had no idea it was an anagram of the bots preferred word at the time, but it's definitely been a powerful starter for me.
Always start with what feels like a reasonably random word from my brain. Never going to remember previous answers and I enjoy the varied challenge. Even if it might make my failure chance a bit higher and also possibly lower my chance of getting a 1 🤷♂️.
I decided to use LEACH as my start after STARE, because I always thought about trying C and L next so I figure as long as we're changing things up lets start with them instead and all the other c,l,e,a words I could think of have been used. I'm curious how much the percentage of STARE starters actually dropped today, if at all.
Excellent Wordle! "I don't think ...IR makes sense" ... well, KEFIR is an acceptable word. It's a type of fermented milk drink. It's not on the A-list but Tracy has been known to introduce novel words occasionally. And she has to: the original A-list of only 2315 words won't last forever. Four for me in about half a minute: AROSE, THING, LUMPY, LEMUR.
LEAST LEDGE LEMON LEMUR I changed my start word because of yesterday. I am not sure what I am going to do next year. When I first started playing Wordle, I changed my first word daily. I might consider using a rotation of different words as long as none of them have been a previous answer.
Of course I went with FEMUR first. Even when I get the correct vowel construction right away, somehow I always choose the wrong consonants until the end. Too many words that fit the common constructions.

I once overheard at the lemur enclosure at a zoo, a boy said, "mummy, why do they lean?"
I thought this was going to be a setup for a dad joke
@micahbumps4375 haha, yeah it sounds like it's going to be.
Wordle 1,291 2/6
🟩⬜⬜🟨🟩 LATER
🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 LEMUR
After my first guess, there was only one possible answer.
Current Streak = 1071

Got it in 5 because I went DEMUR - FEMUR - LEMUR 😂
How annoying!
Great solve! Took me 5.... ORATE CUPID RULER FLEUR LEMUR
LEAST LEDGE LEMON LEMUR

took me all tries. Also, 1:16 😂 felt that
Rangsk, do you have a yellow polo? I've seen your green, blue, and purple, but I don't remember seeing a yellow.
No I don't, I don't really want to wear yellow
Just a heads up, DEMUR is not DEMURE (how you pronounced it). DEMUR is a much less common word, which means balk.
This one was a 5 for me. By guess 3 I was down to only Femur, Demur and Lemur, but lost both the 1 in 3 and the 50/50

I thought about changing from SALET to LEAST but I'm afraid that would be the day SALET would be the answer.
I honestly don't think salet will ever be the answer but who knows
@@Rangsk I haven't checked, but I don't think either SALET or ADIEU is on the answer list. But, as you say, who knows?
Tricky today but got it in 4
femur
GRIND REAMS MERLE LEMUR. The bot tells me that one other player did the same as me.
Stopped doing wordle when they spelt fibre, fiber.
@@mikewood8136 An American game used an American spelling? How dare they! 😂
