I think it’ll most likely be a deluxe album. Albums are super expensive, not to mention there’s 13 vinyl record variants, 4 or 5 cd variants, 2 cassette variants, etc. lots of times artists will release a deluxe album and not release vinyl records of it or just release 1 or 2 versions. if they were to release an entire new album, there would most likely have been a lot fewer record variants.
They got that Fueled By Ramen budget, so it could be possible. Maybe a second album is why they couldn't afford as many fancy music videos for this album. Maybe they had to account a budget for 2 albums at the same time?

Sorry for the late response but I believe the wait for paladin strait is to build hype but also finalise the video. Unlike many of the videos this era, that one is likely going to use a TON of CGI to recreate Dema etc. so it's going to take time

I completely disagree. I believe ultimate chapter 25 means it’s the last chapter. In the song snap back Tyler sings, “fool you once, it’s been 25 times.” Which this song is about snapping back after relapsing. So this is Clancy’s 25th time and it’s the final chapter. The code makes perfect sense. I don’t think there will be a double album maybe deluxe but that code was not a hint.
I’m predicting an EP and before the tour starts, so 25 days (now less than) would make sense. I can’t imagine them not wrapping up the lore before the tour.

If it’s like a whole 10-16 more songs then I think it will be released late 2025 at the earliest, possibly once they finish or get near the end of touring it will be announced and they’ll go on tour again. If it’s only like 3-6 more songs then I could see them releasing them more cryptically and with more lore sooner.

I'm personally not in agreement that this sounds like blurryface 2 as that album had much more of a darker sound in most of the songs (message man, doubt, polarize, hds, fairly local etc) whereas this album has an ambiguous sound in tone. Sometimes it's dark sometimes it's light and sometimes it's a secret third thing. I'd say this is more closer to a mix of Sai and trench than blurry but that's my opinion! We could very well get something that is trench 2

Considering how the ending to Paladin, and therefore the ending to the album, is a LITERAL CLIFFHANGER...there NEEDS to be something to ACTUALLY finalize and complete the story. Clancy had always been marketed and advertised as the END of the DEMA storyline, yet the album itself ends on a CLIFFHANGER? There has just GOT to be more. Is a double album really possible? They filmed 14 MVs for their LP Clancy. Would their record label fund another album? The existence of two versions for Overcompensate and The Craving, makes me think a deluxe version for Clancy is the most likely scenario.

Ive heard some people say that clancy sounds like blurryface 2, which i agree with. Aaaand it was GOING to come out on may 17th, obviously the anniversary of Blurryface. What if we get another album later this year on Trenches anniversary thats basically trench 2. Just some thoughts i had lol
I'm personally not in agreement that this sounds like blurryface 2 as that album had much more of a darker sound in most of the songs (message man, doubt, polarize, hds, fairly local etc) whereas this album has an ambiguous sound in tone. Sometimes it's dark sometimes it's light and sometimes it's a secret third thing.
I'd say this is more closer to a mix of Sai and trench than blurry but that's my opinion! We could very well get something that is trench 2
I also want to mention that Clancy has referenced the number 2 several times. Idk if this might just be me overthinking it, but…maybe?

Considering how the ending to Paladin, and therefore the ending to the album, is a LITERAL CLIFFHANGER...there NEEDS to be something to ACTUALLY finalize and complete the story. Clancy had always been marketed and advertised as the END of the DEMA storyline, yet the album itself ends on a CLIFFHANGER? There has just GOT to be more. Because the storyline is so very CLEARLY NOT OVER.

Is a double album really possible? They filmed 14 MVs for their LP Clancy. Would their record label fund another album? The existence of two versions for Overcompensate and The Craving, makes me think a deluxe version for Clancy is the most likely scenario.

According to the visualiser, Paladin strait is set to release early June. Having it on the 25th would be end June whilst 18th is mid June.
