- In this video, I actually did experiment... but with my audio tech!! I used both my 3Dio as well as 2 Rhode mics and 2 Tascams for a 4-way audio recording extravaganza! I truly hope you all enjoy the slight differences in both touch-audio pick up and the crispness of the breathy whispers with both sets of microphones! Let me know if this is something I can recreate or fiddle around with for other videos in the future!!!

🌱 what is ASMR?🌱
ASMR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, is described as a tingly sensation or feeling that travels from the base of the scalp down the limbs and can manifest in different parts of the body. It causes a lovely, relaxing feeling to the people who experience it, as well as sometimes pleasant 'shivers', and can help with things like insomnia or trouble sleeping. It can occur in situations like hearing a particular sound or 'trigger', and many people experience varying degrees of the phenomenon. Not everyone who listens or watches ASMR videos experiences the sensation however! Some people utilize the sounds of a soothing voice or certain trigger(s) to help fall asleep or relax, without feeling the 'tingles'. It is a blossoming community online, whose main purpose is to bring tranquility and tingles to whoever enjoys it! ✧

The alien professor is and remains such a fun series. For science and the lecture is an excellent excuse to pull out all the triggers.

Ohh hell yes, the timing, just when I'm going to sleep. This is genuinely one of my favorite asmr series! It's interesting and extremely relaxing! I love how much effort you put into the whole thing, always doing different things each class. I wish everyone a wonderful rest/sleep!
immediately noticed how good the audio sounded! it really picks up on the little shuffling or breathy sounds that often get lost without being outright loud. those sounds are some of my favorite but i often have to max out the volume on vids to hear them which makes any speaking portions much too loud. this was the exact right balance!
Hopefully we get to see our favorite professor with her "mirror tech" turned off for a "visual integration and response class" we only got a glimpse but now we want more.
Oh I love what you did with the mics! I instantly noticed the difference, it's truly like you wrote in the description, you can really feel the depth and the more breathy whispers!! It's great I think you should totally try it out again

the crispness of the audio startled me awake! it sounds AMAZING! i usually can't stand mouth sounds or very sharp audio but your voice is so lovely and your videos are so great that i'm able to get past it really easily and really enjoy the audio quality. excellent video as always, the alien professor is so fun.

I fully appreciate the work and effort you've put into the sound, but I'm somewhat overly sensitive to sound and prefer lower tones I guess. The highs and crispiness was a bit offputting.

The more of these alien videos I watch, the more questions I have about the human test subject. Why are they so eager to be experimented on by (admittedly very nice) aliens? Don't they have anything better to do? Are they running away from something on Earth? Am I 100% overthinking this when I'm supposed to be sleeping? (Yes.)
There needs to be an episode where us (the human) gets kidnapped by an alien gang and and alien professor protects us but has to go into her true form (but all still asmr)
